This article is quite eye-opening! The article talks about how we used to imagine that AI could be used to allocate medical resources & predict patients who will require extra health costs or patients who won't be showing up to their appointments, BUT this tool is something we can't put our 100% trust. Why? In 2019, researchers identified a flaw, and that is that AI has become too human and hence also has traits of bias and discrimination. Unbelievable right? I never thought that AI would be biased. How are they biased? Well, AI is trained on data of the world filled with multiple biases. The question now arises: how can we use AI for our benefit while protecting people who risk facing bias? #dentist #dentaltalks #AI #aiinhealthcare #healthcare https://lnkd.in/dHR-kbry
