OK I must admit, it took quite a while to finalize this massive formula 1 model car (Size: 5 in. (13 cm) high, 25 in. (63 cm) long and 10 in. (26 cm) wide). If you start and see these 12 bags containing 1642 pieces, it is hard to imagine how big the final model car really is. Reflecting on this process, I see parallels to my professional career in Digital Transformation. 1.     Visualization: LEGO building enhances the ability to envision desired outcomes and understand complex processes. This is something you can only understand if you have built such models at least once. Remember that all LEGO Technic model cars are fully functional – although it does not have an engine, the steering wheel is fully functional. 2.     Attention to detail: Following instructions sharpens attention to detail, crucial for accurate Digital strategy implementation. And even if you follow-it step by step, you overlook at least one step per build. So a regular pit-stop to validate progress and (interim) results is recommended. 3.     Patience and perseverance: LEGO building cultivates patience and commitment to long-term goals, essential in Digital Transformation projects. In other words: Never give up! 4.     Relaxation and stress relief: Engaging in hands-on activities like LEGO building provides a break from daily demands, promoting well-being. Thats probably my number one reason to play LEGO. In essence: Building LEGO models contributes to skills, even with instruction booklets. (The booklet for this model was a whopping 360 pages long!) @nissanuk is marking 20 years of its London design studio with an exciting hatchback concept vehicle known as the Concept 20-23. This innovative Nissan concept was conceived by the young talents at Nissan Design Europe (NDE) studio, who aimed to create a car they'd love to drive in their city without any limitations. The result is truly remarkable. The Concept 20-23 draws inspiration from Nissan's Formula E involvement and contemporary online simulator racing. It features bold fender flares that dominate its compact wheelbase and large black wheels filling the wheel arches. Expect LED lighting, but the distinctive circular headlight design on the 20-23's sloped front nose adds a unique touch. Notably, the oversized vinyl "23" on the quarter panel pays homage to "ni" and "san," denoting "2" and "3" in Japanese. And of course, it wouldn't be a concept vehicle without scissor doors. #ThankGodItsMonday - Good morning everybody 🤍🔆🦈 with a historic beauty. A super sports car from AUDI AG? With the Avus quattro, Audi presented a desirable mid-engine sports car with a W12 engine at the 1991 Tokyo 🇯🇵 Motor Show. Despite a lot of interest, it never went into series production. Instead, this concept study served as an outlook on various developments that Audi brought into production shortly afterwards. The car featured a highly polished aluminum body, which reappeared in a similar fashion at the world premiere of the A8 sedan in 1994. In this way, the legendary Auto Union Silver Arrows of the pre-war period were cited. The shape also reminded a little of these racing cars. Behind the cockpit with two red leather bucket seats was the first W12 engine in the history of the VW Group. This should have a displacement of six liters and 374 kW / 509 PS. A manual six-speed gearbox was used to transfer power to the permanent quattro all-wheel drive. The acceleration time from zero to 100 km/h was around three seconds, and the top speed was 340 km/h. The designers took the name of the sports car study from the famous AVUS race track in Berlin 🇩🇪 🏁. In Tokyo, the car eclipsed all other exhibits. Today it causes astonishment when it is shown in the Audi Mobile Museum in Ingolstadt. Together with the quattro Spyder, the Avus quattro is a precursor to the Audi R8♦️.
