Tap to Ride. On August 1, we’re launching our new contactless payment system for easier, more convenient ways to pay. Riders will be able to tap a contactless debit/credit card, phone with a mobile wallet, or watch at new fare readers on buses, on Green Line and Mattapan Line trolleys, and at gated subway stations. Our modern fare payment system offers a one-step option for pay-as-you-go travel, saving riders time on their trips. Ive had a chance to try this kind of payment system for PT around the world, however one thing that systematically was missing was an easy to set up receipt or invoice system for the rider to receive for tickets purchased in this method. Has something been set up in this deployment ? Thank you for your kind response.

Hi. I am the holder of a Transportation Access Pass and I am wondering how I will still be able to utilize the disability program. How does the TAP program work now? Thanks! -Henry

We anticipate the launch of digital Charlie Cards for persons interested in passes. I hope this card can be opened and stored in the Google Wallet for example.
