It's Guinness World Records official. Blue Line operator Helen Antenucci is the world's oldest train operator at 81 years old. Helen is a favorite among riders, known for her kind and cheerful announcements and love for the New England Aquarium. 🏆Congratulations, Helen. Thank you for your nearly 30 years of service to the MBTA and its riders. https://ow.ly/lvh850Sk4zX

Thank you MBTA for sharing such an amazing story. You don’t hear of stories on both inclusive and DEI responsibilities that companies and organizations should display these days when it comes to areas in ageism, women’s empowerment, and showing a sense of commitment when employees are willing to stay both loyal and humble. Helen Antenucci is an incredible story and a great PR story for the MBTA as this not only makes New England news, but national news. Let this be an example for many companies that are looking to pull the plug on older workers in the work force as they are the greatest commodity with their years of work experience, leadership qualities, while continuing to have that work ethic to continue staying loyal to one company. Thank you again for sharing such a great story as this has just motivated me for the week.

Helen is the Queen of the Blue Line. My day gets 100000% when Helen is operating & making her announcements.

Congratulations Helen!!! Thank you for your years of service. It is truly a joy when I get on the Blue line in the morning and I hear Helen come over the speaker saying, “Good Morning, Buenas Dias, have a good day. Be kind to yourself and to one another,” it warms my heart and always puts a smile on my face. ☺️

She’s the best such a great person
