“I never imagined that I would relocate to Israel, until I got a job offer from Strauss Group. Over the years, I managed food safety for large international companies and also visited and worked at factories around the world - in the US, France, Ireland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and more. When I received the offer from Strauss, I came for a tour of Israel and discovered that Strauss was an interesting global company engaged in numerous areas of operation and with many production lines - coffee, water, sweets, salads, savory snacks, dairy products... I visited factories, met lots of people and just fell in love. A year has passed since I arrived, and I’m very proud of what we've achieved. I’ve learned from the experience and knowledge gained throughout my career that success is based mainly on: 🍴 Understanding that food safety is an eternal mindset – you can't complete a series of tasks or KPIs and say, ‘We did it! We reached the finish line!’ It's an ongoing, consistent, and never-ending process. 🍴Focus and discipline – because we're talking about a lengthy process, it’s important to stick with it and do what is required. It’s like brushing your teeth - we do it every day, and nothing happens if we skip it once. But if we continue to skip brushing, at the end of the day, we’ll have a problem. 🍴 Promotion of an organizational food safety culture – every single person in the company needs to feel a sense of responsibility. It’s important to provide tools and encourage the people on the production floor to take action, to report hazards and have an impact. This happens when there's a good food safety culture. 🍴 Constant monitoring – it’s important to constantly check the goals and to fine tune them when required. Sometimes, we’re great and creating solutions for crises, and after working towards them with lots of energy and excitement and resolve them, we ignore the root cause. You need to understand, that even after the crisis, there's still a lot to do every day to prevent the next crisis.” *Robert Boisvert is Senior Director for Food Safety and Sanitation at Strauss Group #FoodSafety

Jimmy Donaldson AKA MrBeast There are always better ways to fix the quality control issue you had with MrBeast Burger, you just needed to hire quality assurance workers who are knowledgeable, experienced and skilled in this particular area in food science, you could have essentially created a job opening by opening opportunities for more workers to work on this aspect of the fast food chain business, these workers must have a knowledge, skill and experience on food safety besides the quality assurance.
