It was an absolute delight to share my view at the Cleantech Startup Connect 2023 organized by Confederation of Indian Industry on 6th December 2023.   As a speaker representing JLL a Real Estate Services Firm, it was the perfect podium for me to share some of the meaningful work that JLL has been doing under their JLL Foundation arm. It acts as a catalyst for climate-impacting startups and is closely aligned with JLL's purpose of shaping the future of real estate for a better world, with a particular focus on supporting new ideas to mitigate the harmful effects of climate change. Early-stage companies frequently run out of money in between funding cycles, either because the government funding process is too slow, or venture capitalists see too much risk or not enough potential return. Zero-interest loans to these creative startups supports navigation through some of the financial and operational challenges and allows them to grow and thrive.   A special thanks to Vinni Chakarvarti for organizing and inviting me to the event and Sheetal Rakheja for moderating the session so beautifully. It was amazing how she seamlessly stitched the views represented by experts representing 3 different sectors with my co-panelists Sangeeta Robinson representing entertainment industry (PVRINOX PICTURES), and Shuchita Subhadeep Khan representing Steel and Power industry (Jindal Steel & Power Ltd.).
