ABSOLUTE GENIUS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💎INSIDE OUT 2 (Disney Pixar) Every parent needs to take their kid (7 yrs ) or teenager to see this film… 👉What’s it about❓ …The challenging emotions we face through puberty. Anxiety, embarrassment, envy and boredom disrupt the equilibrium of the characterised existing emotions of joy, anger, sadness, disgust and fear that Riley (13) has always had since being a young child. Importantly it explores the inevitable struggle we have in teenage years over our beliefs and sense of Self. I mean as if Inside Out 1 wasn’t enough… Here’s why I’m a 💥RAVING💥 fan of No.2: 🧠 It is the most beautiful, informative and impactful kids film I’ve ever seen 🧠 It enabled the easiest and most engaging conversation with my 9 and 7 year old about EMOTIONS and how our minds work that I’ve ever had. 🧠 Millie now knows what to expect in puberty and understands that it is possible to mitigate those unhelpful emotions. 🧠 It was so useful for kids to see the detrimental impact anxiety can have and how unhelpful it is to expect the worst. 🧠 Being a coach that prides herself on making complicated topics SIMPLE, this film so flipping clever and easy to understand! 🧠 The panic attack scene had me in tears, it was so impactful seeing in animated form how anxiety can completely shut us down And the best bit… 🧠 I can now explain to my girls what Mummy does for a living and Millie and Daisy totally get it 💖 🌟’Mummy helps people build a powerful belief system, reducing anxiety and envy so that they can have more JOY in their life and perform even better at work’🌟 And that is pretty damn cool. As a self-proclaimed sequel skeptic, I have to admit, Pixar did it again! "Inside Out 2" takes the emotional intelligence journey from the first film and dives headfirst into the turbulent world of puberty with Riley Andersen. The film seamlessly blends the introduction of new emotions like Anxiety and Embarrassment with the familiar faces of Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger and Fear. The humour is spot-on, capturing the awkwardness and intensity of teenage emotions perfectly. One of the things I loved most was how the abstract concepts of emotions were brought to life. The animation is visually stunning, creating a world inside Riley's brain that's both imaginative and relatable. We see the emotional struggle mirrored in Riley's real life, where she's navigating the complexities of friendships, hockey practice, and proving herself to her parents. "Inside Out 2" is more than just a fun movie; it's a powerful tool for parents and children to explore the world of emotions together. It highlights the importance of emotional intelligence, a skill that should be nurtured from a young age.
