We're proud to be a Virginia business partnering with the area's top businesses and job seekers to build a stronger economy. Congrats Virginia!
Susan Spears, President and CEO of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement regarding Governor Youngkin’s announcement of Virginia’s recognition as “America’s Top State for Business” (see below for full press release). Governor Youngkin announced Virginia’s CNBC ranking as the Top State for Business in 2024 earlier today. CNBC's America's Top States for Business 2024 used 10 categories that make up the. Ranking #1 in this competitive, data-driven process demonstrates the resilience of Virginia businesses. Our businesses have innovated, grown, shifted business models, and sought partnerships in ways that are vital for success. Virginia’s strong rankings in the infrastructure and education categories are particularly notable. Virginia has topped the chart six times since the CNBC study began in 2007 and this year, Virginia ranked in the top half or higher in each of the ten categories. This success is the result of long-term efforts between many partners. As a local Chamber of Commerce, we especially thank the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership for their strategic leadership as they work with government, businesses, and economic development partners throughout the Commonwealth. The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber looks forward to continuing the work ahead of us. We will maintain Virginia’s top status and take our business community to new heights. Congratulations, Virginia! We are open for business! https://lnkd.in/eRkSUsFi
