A record number of ~4,000 engineering students from Egypt applied this year to the intensive Analog IC Design Summer Diploma organized by the Information Technology Institute (ITI) as part of Egypt Makes Electronics (EME) Initiative. From this huge number, we selected 200 top students who completed this unique learning journey yesterday, alhamdulillah.
The diploma is quite intensive: It has 45 lecture hours, 45 lab hours, and 90 hours of student work! It is a long journey that goes from nanometer MOSFET characteristics to advanced analog topics like common-mode feedback and reference circuits! A unique aspect of this diploma is the strong hands-on component. The students completed several design projects and used modern tools like the Analog Designer's Toolbox (#ADT) of Master Micro!
We also had two industry speakers from Egypt and USA, Dr. Essam Atalla and Dr. Ahmed Elkholy, who enriched the students' experience and opened new frontiers for them.
@𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁! We have lots of fresh bright minds waiting for the next challenge!
