Leveraging your expertise, you will develop innovative strategies to address complex health challenges across programmes anchored by us. You will utilize data and research to inform decisions, advocate for and implement health education campaigns, and optimize resources to improve healthcare delivery systems. By conducting comprehensive assessments and strategic planning, you will ensure that public health interventions are effective and impactful. Responsibilities: 1. Program Development and Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and implement targeted public health programs addressing maternal and child health, infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and sanitation. 2. Policy Advocacy: Engage with policymakers, government agencies, and advocacy groups to promote evidence-based policies and regulations that improve public health and tackle systemic health challenges. 3. Knowledge Management (KM): Lead research projects to generate new knowledge, evaluate program effectiveness, and identify best practices. Analyse data, document and develop KM products and disseminate findings through reports, presentations, and publications. Ensure program documentation is kept up to date for institutional memory. 4. Capacity Building: Provide training and technical assistance to healthcare professionals, community health workers, and stakeholders to enhance their skills in public health practice, data collection, and program implementation. 5. Community Engagement: Work with communities to understand their health needs and challenges, facilitating their participation in health promotion activities and behaviour change campaigns. 6. Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, non-profits, and the private sector to leverage resources and expertise for public health advancement. 7. Health Monitoring and Surveillance: Use the latest research to monitor health indicators, trends, and outbreaks. Develop and implement surveillance systems for early detection and control of public health threats. 8. Social Media Utilization: Leverage social media platforms to increase the dissemination of the impact. 9. Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader by publishing relevant research internally and externally on renowned forums, contributing to the broader public health knowledge base.
