I'm not a structural engineer, but I have a few friends who are, and I think they would all agree with me that it's not supposed to rain inside the parking garage. It looks like Kimley-Horn can help. #assetmanagement, #assessments #structuralengineering

Fun Fact Friday Since joining the demolition industry a little over a year ago, I've lost count of the times I've heard, "You don't look like someone who works in demolition". My usual response is, "why, what does someone in demolition look like?". There's a common misconception that demolition professionals are uneducated and that the work isn't technical. This couldn't be further from the truth. Demolition is a complex field requiring a range of technical skills and qualifications. Such as Structural Analysis, Environmental Assessment, Engineering Expertise, Project Management, Heavy Machine Operation. Working in demolition opens the door to various qualifications and progression routes including CPCS, NVQ, IOSH, Asbestos Awareness and Removal Certification. Don't judge a book by its cover. The demolition industry is full of diverse, educated, and skilled professionals. Completing important projects, creating spaces that will allow for new developments. What stereotypes about your job have you encountered? #Demolition #BreakingSteroTypes #TechnicalSkills #FunFactFriday
