Our decisions today can have a ripple effect for future generations. Today, we commemorate World Oceans Day by standing in solidarity with like-minded industry partners such as the HK Sustainable Seafood Coalition (HKSSC) and joining their campaign to promote sustainable seafood. We’ve come a long way since banning shark’s fin dishes on property in 2014, and we’re particularly proud of: 🍽️ In 2023, we achieved a new milestone with 49.3% of our seafood responsibly sourced across our restaurants – the highest since our opening. This brings us close to our 2025 goal of sourcing half of our seafood responsibly, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to sustainable yet delectable cuisine. 🦐 Our partnership with WWF-Singapore, established in 2015, has been instrumental in transforming seafood supply chains and promoting sustainable farming practices. Last year, our funding helped Sankina Aquaculture become the first shrimp farm in Malaysia to achieve Aquaculture Stewardship Council certification. The 10 farms supported through our Aquaculture Improvement Projects have collectively produced over 2.8 million kilogrammes of responsibly sourced seafood. 💧 We held the inaugural ’10 for Zero’ awards, celebrating 10 youths advocating for ocean and freshwater conservation, net zero emissions and zero waste, through our Drop by Drop grant. Beyond receiving funding for their projects, the youths were given global coaching, networking and mentorship opportunities. The road ahead is long and we’re working with the industry to better ourselves in all aspects. Let’s conserve our oceans and work towards a more sustainable future together. 💙 🌊 #WorldOceansDay #SandsECO360 #Sustinability

My opinion having fish enclosed in cages and swimming circles in feces all their life until processed for slaughter and packaging is not healthy in any way shape or form, there are videos of salmon being raised the same way, have a look and decide
