On this 9/11 day, I am researching emergency management programs and their mission and vision statements. I grew curious as to what constitutes an emergency management program of excellence. I know there are large programs with a lot of staff and small one-person offices that do great things, but who would you use as a standard for excellence? I know there are programs that have gained accreditation and who have “certified” staff. Just curious what the EM community thinks. #emergencymanagement #emergencypreparedness #resilience #EMAP #excellence #mitigation
