Risen Energy HJT Hyper-ion modules outbeat PERC and TOPCon modules in power generation according to simulation calculations conducted by the company in more than 20 countries and regions with typical climate conditions around the world. Their power generation performance is more outstanding especially in high temperature regions, for instance, it is over 6% gain compared to PERC and more than 3% gain compared to TOPCon modules in the Middle East, northeastern Australia and southern United States. AEMO engaged the ACIL Allen team, including Jonathan Ben-Tovim and Stephen Wallace, to model the integration of Project EnergyConnect and advise on dispatch and settlement outcomes, including quantifying negative interregional settlement residues (IRSRs). Project EnergyConnect will establish a transmission loop across interconnectors between VIC, NSW, and SA. Our modelling indicates that the loop is expected to result in regular counter price flows which will increase the occurrence of negative IRSR on one or two legs of the loop. Under the current rules, this would significantly increase network fees for consumers in the importing regions. To address this issue, we advised on several approaches to reallocate negative IRSR.
