Thinking about buying an electric car? In the latest edition of Taking Stock, Executive Director in our Equities team Sarah Mann discusses the rapid increase in new energy vehicle sales and explains key drivers behind this acceleration in demand. The recent influx of new energy vehicles into Australia are cheaper and often better quality than their predecessors. However, Sarah thinks it may still be worth holding out until 2025 for further advancements and better deals. For investors, Sarah highlights the importance of examining dealership auto stock closely, particularly regarding their brand portfolio, as we transition towards electric vehicles. #ElectricCars #NewEnergyVehicles #SustainableInvesting #AutoStocks #FutureOfTransport #GreenEnergy #Australia #EVs

There's no debate about the cost-effectiveness of electric vehicles (EVs). Companies transitioning to electric fleets have observed savings of 20-25% due to the greater efficiency of these vehicles, their use of more affordable fuel, and significantly lower maintenance costs. This makes EVs a highly appealing option for fleet managers. If you would like to discuss your charge point options, simply get in touch with the team on 01257 826601. In the fleet industry, residual values on electric vehicles (EVs) are sometimes set lower than their internal combustion engine (ICE) equivalents, simply because less is known about the future value of EVs. This negatively impacts the vehicle whole-of-life costs and the monthly lease rental for customers. At FleetPartners, we’re confident about the EV market in Australia and as such, we’ll set the residual value at a comparable ICE equivalent*. If you’re looking for a new company vehicle or to switch your fleet to sustainable alternatives, ask us for a competitive quote on a Fully Maintained Operating Lease electric vehicle today. Talk to us today on 1300 666 001 > *As determined by FleetPartners at its discretion by considering the comparable Internal Combustion Engine vehicle make, model, age and condition. #ourguarantee #electricvehicles

Sales of hybrid and electric vehicles smashed records in 2023, following the trend of the growing car market.🚙📈 🔋 Fully electric BEV vehicles saw a 17.8% increase in sales, largely driven by corporate fleet purchases attracted by tax incentives. What are some key questions you need to ask when adding EVs to your fleet? 🔹What driving routes and hours will the EVs be doing? What range do I therefore need for my vehicles? 🔹Have I completed a trial to measure and analyse performance levels of my chosen EVs? 🔹How can I continue to monitor performance and energy use of my fleet? 🔹How is EV adoption built into my sustainability strategy? 🔹What benefits, other than emission reduction, am I hoping to see? 🔹How can I engage staff and ensure EV fleet feasibility? As a business, have you made use of the many incentives out there to build your own EV fleet? #EVs #electricvehicles #electricfleet #business #sustainability Source: The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT)
