In honor of International Women in Engineering Day, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on Estefania Ortiz, Normativity Manager at Broan-NuTone. It is Estefania’s ninth year at Madison Air, and she is one of the many women in our company who continue to help build a brighter future. This day is special to her because it raises awareness for women in her field and empowers them to reach their full potential in an industry she loves.   Estefania studied industrial engineering at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. One of only two women in her group at university, she developed a passion for mathematics and problem-solving. Today, her favorite part of being an engineer is having the opportunity to develop creative solutions and overcome challenges.   Estefania’s hope is that more women pursue a career in engineering. “Being a woman does not prevent you from becoming an engineer. We have the same capabilities as men to achieve success," she says.   Today, Estefania cherishes her roles as a mother and as an engineer. Being a woman allows her to bring a broad perspective and diverse experience to her team and the workplace.    Thank you, Estefania, and to our Madison Air women engineers for serving as role models and inspiration to all women in engineering!    #MadisonAir #Enhancedbyengineering #Inwed24 #WomenInEngineering #WomenInspiringWomen
