It’s Women’s Health Week, a week dedicated to encouraging women and girls to make health a priority. For too long, women have been left out of scientific and biomedical research, so we’re thrilled to hear about the recent executive order from the White House to advance women’s health research and innovation. The order puts an emphasis on the need for more research about women’s health, especially for women of color, older women and women with disabilities.
