Guatemala's First 3D Printed Building! We're pleased to highlight a significant advancement in seismic-focused construction technology for seismic resilience. Progreso X, a leader in Central and South America's cement industry, has introduced Guatemala's first 3D printed building. This initiative was realized in collaboration with Danish 3DCP GROUP, employing our COBOD #BOD2 3D construction printer. Key insights: 🔹 A 49 m2 (527 SF) house combining 3D printing with traditional “Rancho” palm roofs. 🔹 Efficiently completed in 26 printing hours over a period of seven days. 🔹 Specifically designed for high-resilience in seismic-prone territories.  🔹 Designed for 9.0 magnitude earthquake resilience, showcasing 3D printing's structural integrity.
