🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 I am thrilled to announce that I have recently enrolled in a 90-day intensive Autonomous Mobile Robot Development program at Telenex Robotics. This program is focused on utilizing ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2) to develop cutting-edge mobile robots. Our journey began with an introduction to CAD, where we delved into the basics of 2D and 3D drawings. I had the opportunity to design simple joints such as rigid, revolute, and slider joints. This foundational knowledge is crucial as we move forward in creating more complex robotic systems. Here are some highlights from the initial classes: - 🖥️ Basic 2D and 3D Drawings: Learning the essentials of CAD to create precise and functional designs. - 🔧 Joint Design: Designing and understanding the mechanics of rigid, revolute, and slider joints. By the end of the course, we will be developing fully autonomous robots. I am excited to share designs I have practiced. #MITxPRO Robotics Essentials Exemplary Assignment: Awarded for the exceptional work of using feedback to keep systems on track and explore several fundamental control techniques and characteristics that impact control performance. I referenced an old manufacturing problem I encountered and solved the problem via a change in control methodology. The project involved printing lacrosse padding with TPU of various shore hardness and infill %'s directly onto nylon sports wear. "This would have made 3d printing TPU onto nylon athletic wear more feasible as using standard 3d print controls did not account for the physical deformations (stretching and pulling due to contact with the deposition head) of the substrate as the robot deposited materials. Hybrid motion / force control would have overcome this challenge."
