I'm saying I'm Sipes. I'm the president and CEO of Lutheran Services Florida. Lutheran Services Florida is the social ministry organization of the Lutheran Church bodies in the state of Florida. We are the Lutherans, We are the Lutherans, We are the Lukes, friends, we may be small in number, Boyer, mighty and the impact we have on society. We are saved by grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone. We pray, we read the Bible, we help people with disaster relief ministries to children, to teens, to families, to seniors. We are the Lutherans, small in number, but mighty and the impact we have on the world around us. We bring God's healing. Hope and help to people in the name of Jesus Christ. When Lutheran settlers first came to the United States, one of the early settlements was in, at that time, the colony of Georgia. There was a group of of Germans who had settled there. The first thing they did was build a church. The second thing they did was build an orphanage. And that's that story is retold really all over the country where, you know, Lutheran immigrants came to the country and immediately went about trying to figure out how to love and serve their neighbors. And it's also part of the reason why the agency was founded. It was founded by people. Who had deep faith and who who felt compelled to express that faith through action in the world and and the beautiful thing about working for a faith-based agency like Lutheran services is that we don't stop with the contract requirements. We have a larger purpose. We're supposed to have an impact on on the world. We're supposed to, you know, do on to others as almost an act of sacrament. You know, it's a lot more than just a job and as a reason why casually when I'm in. One of our offices around around the state, I like to spend a little time just sitting in the lobby and kind of seeing the activity, not necessarily interacting with anybody, but just seeing who's coming in. And one thing I do know is that every single day in offices around the state of Florida, people find answer to prayers. They may have been on their knees and tears the night before. And for whatever reason, they find their way into our office and they find the solution to that problem that they had, that they were that they were praying about so. That's a really important kind of awesome responsibility that we have. We're we're being used and it, it's because people thought like this, this is what they wanted to do. They wanted to actually do God's work to provide help, healing and hope with, with our hands.
