As we celebrate Pride Month at Lucid, Laura MacArthur (Head of People Partnering) shares her emotional connection to Pride and the importance of creating a workplace where everyone feels free to be themselves. With a deep commitment to the cause, Laura works to ensure that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. "I get emotional about Pride. To me, Pride is about the freedom to be who you are and to be accepted for that, whoever you are. We must remember that the first Pride was a riot—a powerful response to being told to be ashamed of who you are. The beauty of Pride is that the response to that judgment is to go to the complete other end of the spectrum, make it sparkly, and invite everyone. The chosen family element of Pride is very moving to me. It's about community, standing together, and celebrating our authentic selves. Transforming lives isn't about cookie-cutter solutions; it's about giving people the opportunity to live the life they want. At Lucid, we are committed to fostering a consciously inclusive culture. This is reflected in 82% of Lucidians saying they can be themselves at work every day in our most recent employee engagement survey. But we know there is still more work to be done. Acceptance is a low bar - my goal as an ally is to keep listening to everyone’s unique perspective and take action to celebrate how that diversity helps us all to grow.” Let's continue to champion diversity, celebrate individuality, and create inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. Happy Pride! #PrideMonth #HappyPride #TransformingLives #AccountableAllies

Corporate JOY Strategist | Delivering high-energy programs that maximize engagement, retention, and growth for teams of working parents/caregivers… with JOY!
From Turnover to #DreamTeam Makeover. Create a work culture so incredible your employees never want to leave. There are many ways to build team engagement, but it really comes down to TWO simple things: 1) Employers recognizing members of their team as WHOLE people — and understanding how their personal lives OUTside of work (family, interests, and hobbies) contribute to their professional success 2) Employees being willing to show up as their authentic selves so they're able to SHINE and produce the best work truly possible (BTW: This is where the importance of purpose comes into play. 😉) There are a lot of ways to tackle these unique points — both require unlearning, challenging deep-rooted beliefs, and some reprogramming — but to make the results stick, JOY must be in the mix. That's what the mission behind the JOYrney To Purpose™ is all about. Book a #JOYrney workshop and inspire change in the workplace and beyond! https://lnkd.in/eSfySPDK

A prospective client recently asked if we had a "stump speech" for them to share internally to get their team onboard with adopting The Six Types of Working Genius and, truly, the first point that came to our mind was to share about the surreal self and team awareness that this model creates. Once an individual realizes: 1️⃣ How they are meant to work 2️⃣ Then they start seeing and positioning themselves in their work better 3️⃣ Which naturally leads to them seeing and wanting the same for their peers and team. The rest of the case for why your team or company should consider The Six Types of Working Genius stems directly from this ability to generate simple, yet fulfilling, self-awareness that leads to active and genuine care for those around you, culminating in an effective team, better culture, and fulfilled individuals.

Your work culture starts with you! A company is nothing without its team. And I feel happy to say that I'm blessed with the BEST team. I have seen people talking about work culture. But what exactly is work culture? 👉 It's the thoughts employers and employees exchange with one another that decide a company's work culture. If your thoughts don't align with your team, you're not creating a suitable work culture for them. It's when the toxicity starts to build up and hard working employees leave the company. 👉 At E3 Group, we're not a team but a family that works together and grows together! 📌 What does your work culture look like? You don’t need to watch the latest Barbie movie to recognise increasing critique of contemporary workplace culture in the media – it’s evident that we yearn for more meaningful experiences in our workplaces. Perhaps the portrayal of corporate oppression and unfair advantages allude to a collective disillusionment with traditional Fordist models of work which prioritize standardization. As we continue to shift away from rigid Fordist paradigms towards more flexible, human-centric work environments, the lines between art and life (and humans and humanoids) blur, challenging us to redefine collaboration, identity and purpose. In this evolving landscape, it’s essential to ask ourselves if we’re doing “Kenough” to foster inclusivity, understanding and genuine connection in our professional spaces. #workplaceculture #futureofwork #leadership #diversityandinclusion
