Florida residents that live or work in buildings that are above two stories high THIS IS A MUST READ! New state laws have mandated two-phase structural studies. Phase one is noninvasive and phase two is an invasive inspection. Aeras of inspection; roof system, building envelope, electrical gear, moisture intrusion testing. This must be conducted and signed off by engineers before 12/31/24, less than a year away. You don't want to wait over 900,000 buildings need to be inspected. It is doubtful that there are enough qualified engineers and architects and certified nondestructive testing companies in Florida!!! So, make an appointment get schedule a date now! 954-454-5357 or 561-602-9098 bruniinfrared.com #bruniinfrared #propertyinvestors #condoassociation #maintenance #structuralengineers #certified #accurate #infrared #testing #maintenanceengineer #boardmembers #unbiased

Engineering Judgments. Are they a get out of jail free card? Are they just voodoo science? Are they just an excuse to make cheeky and weird looking firestop installs? No. What the Engineering Judgment actually is, is a way to work out of unavoidable field conditions. They are a way to work out problems in existing facilities where you are trying to bring a wall back up to code with existing penetrations. They allow for work to be continued in archaic construction. They even offer manufacturers the chance to see what new field conditions are appearing. They are almost unavoidable but are NOT an "ask forgiveness and not permission" situation. Have a look at the reasons and requirements below. #3M #firestop #firestopping #firesafety #lifesafety #continuingeducation #constructioneducation #construction #buildinginnovation #buildbetter #buildsmart #passivefireprotection #codeenforcement #buildingcodes #firemarshal #buildinginspections #contractoreducation #constructionmaterials #buildingmaterials #hvac #kcmo #inspectors #codesinspectors #firemashals

If you use any type of infrastructure, thank a surveyor and most likely you do use infrastructure and don’t realize it. A surveyor completed a topographic survey for the engineers to design from, they staked the location of the infrastructure from the engineers plans for the contractor so it can be constructed, then they performed an as-built survey to verify it was built correctly and functions as designed. Lastly, they provided a Land Title survey of the property for your purchase. If you didn’t get the latter, you should think about it in the future. A land title survey can save many headaches and legal battles over property lines.
