I'm excited 🤑 to share that I recently completed the #InsideLVMH Certificate program. This comprehensive learning experience offered invaluable insights into the luxury industry and LVMH's unique ecosystem of over 75 Maisons across 6 business sectors.
---> Some key takeaways from the program <---
1. Balancing #Tradition and #Innovation :
I learned how LVMH Maisons like Fendi maintain their rich heritage while embracing innovation. As #Fendi's CEO Serge Brunschwig highlighted, it's about "opening the next chapter" while preserving authenticity and craftsmanship.
2. #DigitalTransformation :
The program emphasized the growing importance of #OmnichannelStrategies in luxury retail. I gained insights into how LVMH is reinventing the customer experience across all touchpoints, from online discovery to in-store services.
3. #Sustainability and Social Responsibility (aka. #CSR) :
LVMH's commitment to environmental sustainability and positive social impact was inspiring. I learned about initiatives across the group to ensure responsible sourcing, reduce environmental footprint, and contribute positively to communities.
4. #China's Luxury Market (I take pride in this part 😝 ):
The program provided fascinating insights into the crucial #ChineseLuxuryMarket, including perspectives from LVMH executives like Andrew Wu, Group President of LVMH China. Also I am intrigued by this book #BlingDynasty written by Erwan Rambourg (although 10 years have elapsed, some points still click)
5. #Innovation as a Key Asset:
I was intrigued by how innovation drives success in luxury, exemplified by Louis Vuitton's approach to digital innovation shared by Agnès Vissoud, their Digital Innovation Director.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge through this #extracurricularprogram. It reinforced how #creativity, #craftsmanship, and a #LongtermVision drive success in the luxury sector (something I would like to explore more obvs). The course also highlighted the importance of adapting to changing consumer expectations while maintaining the essence of luxury.
Thank you to the one and only #LVMH for offering this enriching learning experience.

I'm happy to share that I had the opportunity to participate in the #INSIDE#LVMH program. 8 weeks of inspiring and immersive learning path about the luxury sector from iconic brands like Christian Dior, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy, TAG Heuer, among others.
Incredible expertise shared by leaders of the LVMH group in four modules focused on:
- LVMH and the Luxury Industry
- Luxury & Sustainability
- Creation & Branding
- Operations & Supply Chain
Bernard Arnault is the CEO of LVMH, the luxury goods powerhouse that owns Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Moet & Chandon, Tiffany, and Tag Heuer.
Earlier this year, he was also named as the world's richest man with a fortune in excess of $200 billion.
The 75 year-old's family are a key part of his business and he recently added two more of his children to the company's board of directors.
So what can his approach teach us about succession planning, especially in the luxury goods industry? Professor Qing Wang, from University of Warwick - Warwick Business School explains. Link in the comments.

If you know me, you know that my career background has been deeply rooted within the fashion business since the beginning.
I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained the Inside LVMH certification specializing in creation and branding, operations and supply chain. LVMH has indeed been a dream company of mine, they truly align with my mission of building brand loyalty and legacy.
There's no doubt that over the years the odds were stacked. A career in fashion seemed very far-fetched, not only because of the industry's competitive nature but also due to its lack of inclusivity and failure to place Black women in the equation, particularly within senior, and C-level business leadership roles.
Yet, I continue to take big and small steps, realizing that God has given me the key to unlock someone else's next opportunity. I have countless doors to open for those who look like me and have always dreamed of breaking into the fashion industry.
I highly recommend this certification for anyone passionate about luxury. It offers a deep dive into everything from brand management and craftsmanship to sustainability, covering sectors like wine and spirits, fashion and leather goods, watches and high jewelry, beauty and more.
This is a limited-time opportunity to register and explore the company's 75 Maisons, gaining insight into their constant innovation of the savoir-faire business model.

Luxury groups are taking brand control to another level, and LVMH is leading the way with what I call a "fully vertical-circle ecosystem." An interesting article in the Wall Street Journal highlights how LVMH expands its business by moving into urban planning. The goal? To maintain its image and represent its brands in every aspect.
With the latest move into film industry, they will ensure the storytelling.
Owning part of the city, you don't depend on mall developers or inflation, and you can control unwanted operators.
