At first sight, what we see in this post is not so different, this image represents a man and a woman during a happy day of their lives. Nobody sees anything extraordinary even if we say that these are Maria Teresa De Filippis and Romolo Tavoni. 🔙 Taking a brief step back in motorsport history, a woman worth mentioning is Neapolitan Maria Teresa De Filippis; a name that may not stir any memories but she is the first woman driver to compete in F1. In the photo below she is embraced by Romolo Tavoni, Ferrari's race director. It was taken in 1958, just after the end of the Portuguese Grand Prix where the two look very happy and it was an ordinary moment. They were just a driver and a race director after an exciting Grand Prix. Maria Teresa De Filippis was a pioneer who paved the way for subsequent generations of women who aspired to compete at elite levels. Her courage and passion helped change the landscape of F1, opening the door to greater diversity in the paddock.☺️ #EqualOpportunities #F1 #Ferrari

As anticipation builds for the upcoming 2024 Olympics, an intriguing spectacle is unfolding behind the scenes of equestrian sports: the training, selling, and buying of horses. In simpler terms, imagine a horse born and raised in Germany suddenly donning the colors of the United States or vice versa as it gallops towards Olympic glory. In this dynamic environment, horses may find themselves changing hands, moving from one country to another in pursuit of Olympic representation. A horse that may have been bred and trained in one country could suddenly find itself wearing the colors of another, a testament to the fluidity of international equestrian partnerships. However, this practice raises questions about the complexities of ownership, nationality, and allegiance within the equestrian community. While the horse may physically represent one country in competition, its training and talent may be rooted in a different cultural and geographical context.
