Delighted to share that Brand Hatchers won the Fastest Growing International Business in Wales award last night at the Wales Fast Growth 50 awards and was ranked #13 of 50 for growth between 2020 and 2022. Running an international business can sometimes feel very isolating and a real slog, particularly over recent years. Just when I’ve felt like we’re finding our feet, another ‘unprecedented’ global challenge comes flying our way and tests not only my resilience but the resilience of the team and the business. Build having a baby, a short mat-leave and jumping straight back into the business into that and calling it a rollercoaster would be an understatement! But, like a rollercoaster, with lows come great highs! Building this business with my Dad as my business partner has been a pretty special learning curve. We learn from each other, challenge each other and manage to laugh, a lot! Building out what is a phenomenal team, who go above and beyond every day, who’s enthusiasm about everything we do is infectious and who make me laugh even at those real dips in the ride has been a joy. Seeing the business evolve and then evolve again to not only get through what has been a challenging (nearly) 5 years but grow and thrive is endlessly satisfying ( 332.7% growth 2020-2022!) I’m not one to do posts like this but today I am really proud of what everyone at Brand Hatchers have achieved in recent years. This award recognises the impact of our business model and team internationally and is testament to the sheer grit and team effort it takes to build a start up business and take it to the next stage of its growth. Check out Brain Blasterz to see how we’re driving this growth. Growing the sour candy category in over 30 countries worldwide! UK Fast Growth 50 Index #FG50 #fastgrowth50

🪙 If the Trevi Fountain Were a Business 🪙Imagine if Rome's Trevi Fountain was on the stock market. With tourists tossing in over 1 million euros annually, it might just outperform some startups in terms of pure profit margin! Picture the quarterly reports: "Earnings are up, thanks to increased wish-making activity." 😂 In all seriousness, the fountain's tradition offers a magical blend of culture and economics. It's a reminder of how experiences can hold more value than the sum of their parts—or coins, in this case. P.S. Two weeks have passed since the B Corp Cork event on June 13th, and we've been reflecting on its success and impact. The event, co-hosted by Climeaction, Otonomee, Change by Degrees and B Lab Ireland, took place at The Dean Hotel and served as an exciting platform for innovation in the Irish business community. We are thankful to everyone who attended and helped make our vision of Raising the Collective Ambition in the Room a reality. The event was packed with insightful discussion and shared enthusiasm, highlighting the growing momentum of the B Corp movement in Ireland. James McManus spoke passionately about the workings, accomplishments, and significance of B Corps. Marcello Palazzi inspired us to step up our ambitions and engage with B Corps on a global scale. Numerous companies from various sectors, sizes, and stages of maturity shared their sustainability journeys, reinforcing our shared commitment to positive change. After two weeks of reflection, we can highlight a few key takeaways from the day: Companies are expanding their definition of stakeholders to include workers, customers, communities, and the environment. Being a certified B Corp is a marker of good business, showcasing awareness and solutions for societal and business challenges. It’s not enough to get your own house in order; responsible businesses make a difference by supporting others on their journey. Purpose-driven and sustainable businesses are setting themselves apart and succeeding commercially and financially. B Corps take pride in ensuring their products, practices, and profits do no harm and benefit all. The success of this event has set the stage for more exciting initiatives. Stay tuned for upcoming events, possibly later this year! Together, we are making strides toward a more sustainable future. #BCorp #BCorpCork #BusinessForGood #ResponsibleCorporates Cully & Sully Limited Gaia Talent OPTEL Group Merck Group Barry Group.
