We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Mount Anvil as our development partner to build new homes in the heart of Gospel Oak, as part of Phase II of the Bacton Community Investment Programme (CIP) #redevelopment. Mount Anvil will work closely with the Council, and in consultation with the community, to deliver at least 61 social rent homes of varying sizes to tackle overcrowding. Through the new partnership, Mount Anvil and Camden will invest in the local community both through the project itself, but also through wider #socialvalue commitments. With only 6% of our funding for building and refurbishing homes coming from central government, we must continue to find ways to innovate to further housebuilding progress. Adopting redevelopment partnership models like this will enable us to unlock investment to build more affordable housing across Camden whilst ensuring our financial resilience.
