POSTCOVID-19 WAR era, (Prolongation of the isolated heart storage time up to >48 hrs) After 100 years still cardiovascular diseases are number one killer between all diseases. Heart failure is one of phenomenal processes which still have no standard definition and transplantation of Heart between donors and patients because of different factors i.e. limited donors, very short storage time (possibilities concerning time and crossmatching) made heart transplantation still mission almost impossible to get 100% results. I studied heart failure and wrote a book over the effects of insulin during heart failure". 2.Moreover, I studied calcium paradox during heart transplantation and storage medium which protects heart as cardioplegic solution. 3.Furthermore, I did animal studies and brought animal hearts into a hibernated state to investigate different aspects of storage Sciences (1999-2002). 4. After prolongation of shelf life of blood platelets up to 18 days (2002-2006) I invented novel model system to prolong isolated hearts for more than 48 hrs. This model system is still waiting for funding budget for 4 years studies, under ex-vivo and in-vivo. We are looking for collaboration to prolong even isolated hearts for more than 5 days, which will prepare a condition to crossmatch, increase exchange of isolated hearts between countries and continents. Radiology can participate only sporadically in CMS’s current conception of value-based care. Why? Because the system relies heavily on episode-based reimbursement—and vast numbers of imaging studies are non-episodic by their very nature. In fact, around 33% to almost 50% are “one-off” events.
