Alright, so I'm going to give you a little tour of our stretch lab and see and show you what the experience looks like when you're coming for your first stretch. When you first come in for your first time, we will be doing a three overhead squats. This is the technology called MAPS. So the part of the stretcher team we do a maps what is stands for is mobility, activation, posture, symmetry. We do three overhead squats and that will give us the result. So this gives us the overall number of telling us how good your activation is, your posture is symmetry is so we can take a look at it over here. So overall, and here we can see in the mobility that. There is issues on the shoulders, on the left hip. Activation was pretty good, but with this is saying that you're leaning a little bit more forward than being straight. The posture is overall good. The symmetry it seems like that, you know, you tend to favor one side for this. It looks like a he's favoring on the left side more so with this number and with this guided area, the flexi ologists will work with the client to make sure that they create the proper stretch routine to help them loosen up those muscles. So then they are. They are more flexible and more mobile and they're, you know, working those area to get where they need to be. And the stretch of maps are done first time when you come in and then after that is every 30 days. So then they can see the results. The results are being sent to them as well. So then they can compare it and you kind of see the progress. Alright, so as you can see, Miss Connor is getting stretched here. Kevin is working on her hamstring stretch right now. So we worked with the different kind of stretching as the needs are and I'll let Kevin explain what this stretch routines look like, what the PNF is stretch. So we're going to be doing like straight until we head to a certain length. You know why? Cool. So we're doing is we're just holding it right here. Always working on just a hamstring. Right now we're just doing this like tonight, beginning. And then we're going to do a PNF stretch. So what we're going to do is we're going to inhale and press into me. You can go harder if you want, and exhale, relax, and then the light goes further in. And we're just going just like the main and. Miss Conner, you being our founding members since we opened and carry in 2019 and then you came over here since it's closer to your house, since we opened this location. How your experience been with us? Clearly I I keep coming back. I'm a nurse anesthetist so I work in the hospital long hours, overnight shifts, sleeping and call rooms. Yes, this has really helped me. Keep loose. I can come in and explain what's been bothering me in the last week since I've been here last year. And I think it's really helped help me. They give me exercises to do that I can even do while I'm at work. And now that I'm pregnant too, I've kept coming throughout my pregnancy. Today I came in telling Kevin I had some sciatic pain and kind of like some soreness in my legs and feet. And so we've been working on that today and I've just really had a great experience. Stretch Lab and I will continue to be a member. Thank you. Thank you for sharing that. We love to have you here. Thank you. Stretch Lab is for everybody and everybody we work with, any age range. Currently we have among our clients 8 to 88 and they range from those that are sports minded to just average everyday people. We have a lot of people that come to us that just have normal back pain just from misuse over the years that need to be realigned. We have people that. Shoulder pain, Neck pain, Sciatica. Where we have one gentleman who is a pickleball player and he came into us a while back. It was in horrible pain and he actually couple weeks later had a tournament and they won the tournament. It was extremely happy we worked with. Anything and everybody really. We have clients who are dancers who play golf, tennis, football, anybody. We have a lot of young athletes who come in from all the sports activity. You will see that, you know, they're really working and then their muscles are really tight. So when they come, they come get their stretch gets a little bit loosened up so they can really perform well. And then what it does is it prevents injury as well because the tight muscles can tend to break easily. And if you are not paying attention, then you'll have an injury. So that's also one way of, you know, using the stretches routinely that you know, you can prevent injuries. Our motor over here is, as you see, it says live long. So by that standard, you know, get stretched. Keenly and live long, Feel better, more better. So stretch lab sessions, as I mentioned earlier, there are 25 minute or 15 minutes. We do not require doctors known you. You can come in and get stretched. However, your needs are when you go to their physical therapy. You do need a doctor's note and we are. Similar but not similar at the same time. At PT, they will work with the one particular muscle group that they've been referred to by your physician. Over here, we work with your whole muscle group because when you're working with the per se, your knee, then you need to work with your whole leg, all the muscles to loosen that up. So that's a little bit of difference with that, different ways you can pay for your stretch sessions. Obviously with your credit or debit, but want to point out that some commercial insurance are working with the stretch lab and they will provide 2 to 425 minute sessions. Medicare definitely covers a few 25 minute session. So we want to make sure that you take advantage of your insurance. So do call your insurance and see if you qualify for it and they will connect you with us. Alright, so we're going to do the hamstrings now. Just let me know. So. He's doing the hamstring stretch. How does that feel to you? Feels pretty good right now, yeah. How long you been coming with the two here? Two months, almost three months and do you see the difference in three months? Great job and loosening me up. Feel better every time I leave. That's excellent, thank you. So it's very important to understand is that consistency is key. Just like going to the gym, you're not going to see the results that you're looking for unless you consistently invest in yourself. So coming in periodic consistently each week at the very least is going to get your best results. Also, 25 minute stretch are available, but they can only cover so much with that 25 minute stretch. It's very important that if you can at 50 minute stretch is what you. You strive for it because you're going to get more out of that particular stretch. I think giving that 50 minute once a week to yourself will help you move better, live better and feel better. With that saying, with the local Easter we are offering 10% off their first month membership so do come and try this fresh love.To view or add a comment, sign in
