For Logan Menne, mental health self care is a necessity, and she knows one of the biggest challenges (especially in smaller towns like hers) can be finding resources that work for you. “Whether it's remote counseling sessions tailored to my needs, on-demand mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, or stress relief tools, I rely heavily on Headspace Care. Having support at my fingertips through life’s ups and downs has been nothing short of a blessing.” We know the power of investing in the wellbeing of our humans, which is why we offer unlimited access to Headspace Care for all LivCorians and their dependents—because there's no way to accomplish all that we do unless we are able to prioritize caring for ourselves. Thank you for joining us throughout #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth as LivCorians shared their personal mental health stories. We encourage you to continue prioritizing your own mental health and wellbeing (and speaking up about it!) all year long.

Elevating Emotional Resilience against challenge, change, and adversity! Emotional Resilience Expert, Trauma Practitioner, Award Winning Speaker & 9D Breathwork Facilitator.
Unpacking the Layers of Mental Health: From Emotional Resilience to Trauma Recovery. I had the privilege of joining the incredible @Angela Todd on Radio Shield’s Wellness Wednesday show this week, during Mental Health Awareness Week. 🎙️ Our discussion was not only enlightening but deeply personal, covering a broad range of topics essential for understanding and improving mental health. We delved into the nature of trauma—what it is, how it's often misunderstood, and how so many have experienced it and aren't even aware. We explored how trauma affects our nervous system and influences our emotions, thoughts, and actions, shedding light on the profound impact it has on our daily lives. Additionally, we tackled the crucial topic of emotional resilience—understanding what it means, how our emotions impact our overall well-being, and strategies for building resilience against life's challenges. I shared some very personal stories from my own journey, including losing a decade of my life to depression while functioning as a professional, and an eventual suicide attempt. This led me to take responsibility for my own recovery, healing myself from trauma, depression, digestion problems, migraines, and more through a holistic approach involving sound, movement, energy work, mindset mastery, health & nutrition. This conversation was not just informative but also deeply empowering, offering tools and insights on how to manage and improve our mental health. Thank you, Angela, for facilitating such a meaningful conversation. Let’s keep the dialogue open and continue to support each other in our journeys toward mental wellness. My inbox is always open to answer any questions🤗 #MentalHealthAwareness #WellnessWednesday #ProfessionalWellbeing #TraumaInformed #EmotionalResilience

🌸 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🌸 Let's break the stigma and prioritize mental well-being!❤️ As we navigate through the challenges of life, it's important to remember that mental health matters. This month, let's come together to raise awareness, promote understanding, and support each other on our individual journeys towards better mental well-being. 💡 Here are a few ways we can contribute to mental health awareness: 1️⃣ Educate ourselves: Take the time to learn about mental health conditions, their impact, and the resources available. By understanding more, we can foster empathy, reduce stigma, and offer support to those who may be struggling. 2️⃣ Prioritize self-care: Self-care is not selfish, it's essential. Make self-care a priority in your life by engaging in activities that bring you joy, practicing mindfulness, and setting healthy boundaries. Remember, taking care of your own mental health allows you to better support others. 3️⃣ Be a compassionate listener: Sometimes, all someone needs is a compassionate ear. Be there for your friends, family, and colleagues by actively listening without judgment. Let them know they are not alone and that their feelings are valid. 4️⃣ Advocate for change: Mental health awareness starts with breaking down barriers and advocating for change in our communities. Use your voice to support mental health initiatives, promote access to affordable and quality care, and encourage open conversations about mental well-being. Let's make mental health a priority, not just this month, but every day. Together, we can create a more supportive and understanding environment for everyone. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BreakTheStigma #PrioritizeMentalWellbeing #CareerDevelopment

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In the fast-paced and high-stress environments of industries many of our clients work within, taking a moment for mental health isn't just important—it's essential. This year, we're shining a light on the power of connection. Connecting with others can play a pivotal role in improving our mental health and resilience. Whether it's a conversation with a friend, joining a support group, or seeking professional help, every step towards connection is a step towards better mental well-being. Check out this video by @simonsinek who shared: "When you're struggling, here's a way you can reach out. It's what I do with those closest to me. It can take as little as 8-minutes to feel not alone. 📲" Video from ServiceNow, January 2024, in conversation with Vanessa Smith _ Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 U.S. adults live with a mental illness? Despite its prevalence, stigma and lack of understanding still cloud the topic of mental health. This month, we encourage everyone to learn more, talk openly, and support each other in our journeys toward mental wellness. Remember, it's okay not to be okay. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Together, we can create a more supportive and understanding world. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #ConnectForMentalHealth #EndTheStigma

Embracing Self-Care and Well-being: Insights from The Art of Wellbeing Session I participated in The Art of Wellbeing session with Solid Minds, a deep dive into nurturing our body, mind, and soul to promote self-care and overall well-being. As someone who has grappled with grief, this session was profoundly impactful. It sheds light on the subtle symptoms of mental health struggles that can often go unnoticed. The experience made me realize I'm not alone; many share similar challenges. Key takeaways from the session revolved around coping with mental health: 💡 Self-awareness: Acknowledging and accepting our mental health struggles is the first step toward healing. 💡Seeking Support: Whether through therapy or confiding in a trusted individual, seeking help is a powerful way to overcome mental health challenges. 💡Investing in Self-Care: Prioritizing self-care, including activities like exercise and spa days, is essential for overall well-being. Thank you, Nadiya Tucker and Caroline Rusabana, for taking the time to share your valuable insights on how to navigate mental health. If you are currently struggling with mental health issues and need someone to talk to, or if you require support, please do not hesitate to reach out to Solid Minds. Let's continue the conversation on mental health and self-care. We can break the stigma and foster a supportive, understanding community. 🌱💙 #MentalHealthMatters #SelfCare #Wellbeing #Baobab2023 #Solidminds #mastercardfoundation

Hello, my wonderful LinkedIn community! On this meaningful World Mental Health Day, let's take a moment for a heart-to-heart chat. Over the past decade, we've collectively grown, recognizing the paramount importance of mental health in our lives. Life has a way of testing us, and it's "perfectly okay not to be okay sometimes". The journey has its peaks and valleys, and there are moments when the burdens feel too heavy. Here's a vital life lesson I've learned: You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. Seek out your anchors – be it a therapist, a trusted friend, or a cherished family member – those who will listen without judgment, providing the steady presence you need. What's even more important is to remember that you're never alone on this journey. Sharing your struggles not only brings solace but also inspires others to do the same. I'm particularly thrilled today to reflect on WellM's role in countless emotional journeys, successfully supporting corporates, institutes & individuals on their paths to mental well-being. And I would like to extend my warm gratitude to everyone who believed in us. Now, here's a life-affirming nugget to carry with you: Do at least one thing every day that you genuinely love. It could be as simple as sipping a cup of tea, taking a leisurely walk, shaking a leg to your fav tune or losing yourself in a captivating book. Focus on caring for your own self with the same kindness you offer to others. On this World Mental Health Day, let's reaffirm our commitment to well-being and our dedication to supporting one another. Reach out, lend an ear, and remember that slow, deep breathing can serve as your anchor during life's emotional storms. Together, let's make every day an opportunity to celebrate mental health, learn valuable life lessons, and grow as empathetic, resilient individuals. ❤️ #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #SupportEachOther #WellMSupports #LifeLessons

As we step into Mental Health Awareness Week, it's essential to recognise the wealth of information and activities that come our way. While these resources can prove invaluable, we understand it can sometimes feel overwhelming. This week, we encourage everyone not just to engage with the content but also to listen to what your own mind and body need. 🌱 Here are a few tips to keep your wellbeing in check: 💙 Prioritise Your Needs: It's okay to step back if you're feeling overwhelmed. Take this week at your own pace. 💙 Digital Detox: Consider setting boundaries on your screen time. A little break can make a big difference. Especially when social media is often just a 'highlights reel' which can make you feel inadequate. 💙 Connect Offline: Spend some time with friends or nature. Real-world connections can be incredibly rejuvenating and a welcome break to some idealistic social media posts. We're committed to upholding a supportive environment at Medihelp where mental health is a priority. We aim to use this week not just to learn, but also to unlearn some unhealthy habits that can impact our mental health. 🌼 If you think you might be experiencing mental health challenges but are unsure where to start, here are some useful contacts to access the support you need as soon as possible: 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 - 0300 123 3393 📞 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐬 - 116 123 📞 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐌 - 0800 58 58 58 📞 𝐂.𝐀.𝐋.𝐋 (𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬) - 0800 132 737 📞 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐱 - Text '𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐗' to 85258 📲 #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
