Hey, #LinkedIn #Friends, #Connections, and #Followers: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME #FOOTBALL ?!?!?!?! We’re coming towards the end of #January #2024 and the #NFL #PLAYOFFS are in full swing with the #NFC AND #AFC championship games coming up this weekend and the #SuperBowl happening on #February 11th. Since #SuperBowlSunday is one of #America's favorite National Holidays, I might as well post #MoviePosters from EPIC Football #Movies until then!!! _________________________________________________________________________________ After #interviewing all the #entitled #unqualified #applicants to you from #JobBoards do you have to remind yourself that: "REMEMBER, NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE, COMES INTO OUR HOUSE AND PUSHES US AROUND." Is your #talentacquisition process so ineffective that you can't fill your #OpenJobs and when asked how you’re going to fix it, all you can come up with is: “WE'RE GONNA GO INSIDE, WE'RE GONNA GO OUTSIDE, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. WE'RE GONNA GET 'EM ON THE RUN BOYS AND ONCE WE GET 'EM ON THE RUN WE'RE GONNA KEEP 'EM ON THE RUN. AND THEN WE'RE GONNA GO GO GO GO GO GO AND WE'RE NOT GONNA STOP TIL WE GET ACROSS THAT GOALLINE.” Have you ever had to #interview #candidates for your #OpenRoles that are so #unqualified that when it's over you just think to yourself: “WHO CARES HOW MUCH EFFORT I PUT IN IF IT DOESN’T PRODUCE ANY RESULTS” When someone asks you if you’re ready to work with a #recruiter who can bring you #GreatPeople to fill your #JobOpenings, all you need to say is: "I'VE BEEN READY FOR THIS MY WHOLE LIFE." Instead of feeling like an UNDERDOG, let the #TheUnicornHunter and the #CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM of #recruiters at @ExecutiveAlliance help #Recruit #Talent that’s so great that you get CARRIED AROUND ON EVERYONE’S SHOULDERS!!! Are you willing to hire a candidate who secretly recorded themselves getting laid-off and then posted it virally, gaining 20 million views on social media? As an employer, it's natural to feel concerned about the drama created from the video. However, have you considered that things could be different under your mentorship and leadership? It's worth considering the candidate's skills and potential for growth. After all, resilience and the ability to learn from past experiences are valuable traits in any employee. What are your thoughts???

So how many of you watched the NCAA Women’s Final Four last night?🏀 The Iowa/UConn game didn’t disappoint. Q3 is what made the difference. The team knew exactly what they had to do. They relied on their experience to win. It got me thinking. I am in Q3 of my career. I am a seasoned pro who knows what it’s like to be in tough games, can shoot from anywhere on the court, I’ve even had some outside 3s that have swished. 🎉 Imagine if certain players were removed from the team in Q3? Empowering businesses towards growth with unlimited creative support while mentoring the next generation of leaders!
Overcoming Adversity: Turning Setbacks into Springboards 🌋 Adversity is an inevitable part of any career journey. Layoffs, rejections, failures – they can feel like insurmountable obstacles. But what if you could turn them into springboards? When I faced a major professional setback, I was devastated. I felt like my career was over. But in the depths of that darkness, I found a glimmer of opportunity. 💡 Adversity has a way of revealing our strengths, our passions, and our true north. It forces us to get creative, to dig deep, and to discover what really matters. 🧭 To turn setbacks into springboards, start by reframing your perspective. Look for the gift in the challenge. What can you learn? How can you grow? 🌱 Lean on your support system. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and your resilience. Their encouragement will be your trampoline. 🤗 🌉 Adversity is not a roadblock; it's a detour. With the right mindset and resources, you can use it as a launching pad to reach new heights in your career. #overcomingadversity #resilientcareer #setbackstostrength

I loved watching the NFL before Taylor Swift came along. Why I am mentioning this? Within recruitment, companies and agencies receive fantastic applications from candidates that are actively searching for a new role, for very genuine reasons; however, tempting the passive candidate feels great! I was not actively looking to follow a new sport, I was very happy with football (soccer) but that did not mean that there was not this amazing opportunity out there that I was not aware of. That is what the NFL was to me and that is what I believe Quinyx could be for you! If you'd like to trade being comfortable for being challenged, if you'd like to be part of a scaling business that you can actually effect, whilst working with our amazingly collaborative and supportive team, take a look at our careers page and you might just find your NFL (figuratively speaking). I mean, I say figuratively speaking but if you're not bothered about joining Quinyx, may I just recommend watching the NFL. If you are not an NFL fan, my beloved Broncos beat the current Superbowl champs the Kansas City Chiefs, yesterday. This is a rarity. It was incredible. Apply below and here's to trying something new 🏈 #hiring #quinyx #workforcemanagement #saasjobs #accountexecutive

11 years ago, on this weekend, I went with my two Atlanta roommates to Monster Jam. Not a care in the world — days before I started my new job. (Look how young and carefree we were, Sai and Robert!) My work goals back then? Show up on time and hit/exceed metrics. Unofficial goals? Start the company’s first softball team (co-credit to Robert Jones), win Halloween and summer contests, make new friends, and earn a decent paycheck. All that to say… Leaders: Don’t expect new hires to look or act like you. They aren’t going to have your same convictions and passion on day one. If they have the raw material you’re looking for, develop it. Invest in them. Show them the way instead of just telling them. They may surprise you! New hires: Don’t compare your first chapter to someone else’s book series. Just do your best — every day. Someone will notice. And if they don’t? Well, VocoVision is hiring! 😉 #workanniversary

Founder & Executive Recruiter @ JFK Talent | Transportation, Logistics, CPG, Real Estate, Sales, Operations | Entry → Executive Placements
As the NFL playoffs continue this weekend, I am reminded of the hard work these players put in to get to where they are today. Most of us only see these players in their prime years as they are celebrated and broadcasted on national television on the world stage for all to see. We often criticize their moments of failure and typically only celebrate the wins - it's our competitive human nature to do this. What we are NOT thinking about in the playoffs are the years and years of hard work, early morning practices, after school workouts, injuries, setbacks, rehabilitation and simply the many thousands of hours these guys had to spend to make that 0.015% odds of playing on the big stage. Because I am a recruiter, I apply this thought process to people who are applying for jobs. We are inundated every day with posts about the struggle for people to find jobs, get interviews, make connections in order to get to their own personal "national stage". Landing an interview takes work. You're competing on average with over 200 other applicants EVERY time. Often times, quite a bit more than that. You need to have those "after work workouts", "injuries/setbacks", challenges thrown at you in order to get there. Some are lucky enough to land their first application but their journey was different than yours so don't compare your pace to others. Connections are key and LinkedIn is a great place to start. #myteamisout #theresalwaysnextyear #gofins #recruiter #nfl #playoffs #linkedin #jfktalent

LAYOFF IS A LIFETIME VACATION !!!! A layoff can often be viewed as a temporary break from the hustle and bustle of the corporate world, offering individuals a chance to recalibrate and reassess their career paths. For ex employees of calloquack, it can be seen as a brief respite from the daily grind, allowing for personal reflection, skill development, and the pursuit of much better opportunities. While the uncertainty of a layoff can be daunting, it can also provide a unique opportunity for individuals to step back, relax, and ultimately reinvigorate their professional journey.

Do You Look for Reasons to Hire or Reasons Not to Hire? https://a.co/d/3s3gOzx 7 years ago today I witnessed these two young men as they competed in the NBA Summer League. Now they are both NBA Champions! Jaylon (7) and Jayson (11) have been ridiculed and criticized these last 7 years as much as new hires are across Dealerships! 🏀 You can’t do it! 🏀 We should trade you! 🏀 You can’t co exist! 🏀 There is no way you will ever win! These things are similar to what some of you do in your hiring process. 🚗 Your resume doesn’t qualify! 🚗 You aren’t dressed for the part so I’m not even going to interview you! 🚗 You must be stupid! 🚗 If you don’t get it right this time, you might as well pack your 💩 and get the f$&@ out! A true leader remembers when they were brand new, and WHY they achieved where they are today. Which started with another TRUE leader that gave them a chance and were PATIENT with them. Without that chance and some patience they never would have achieved the Titles, Money, 2nd Homes, Expensive Car, Fancy Vacations or getting a “piece” of a store. So my question to you LinkedIn Leaders is are you going to be the Boston Celtics and take the time to GROW your home grown talent, or are you going to keep your foot on the throats of your employees trying to scare them into producing for you? Records are broken and Championships are only won when the whole team has bought in! Can you honestly say every employee you have has bought in? But more importantly have you EARNED that right? #GrowthGratitude2024 #GOALLIN

Have you got hiring plans but are worried summer is going to grind things to a halt? Key things to consider: - - Once we hit the holiday season timelines naturally drag on more. Try to plan and communicate early in the process. (My number 1 advice is no surprises) - Although summer can be painful it's still great to hire and it's sometimes to your advantage - candidates will get approached less so get your proposition right and you can really stand out. - September/ October is proven year-on-year to be the most active time (with January). That's great (we love it) but it is highly competitive so why not steal a march by getting your recruitment done early- imagine a football team: you don't recruit the best players on the best terms when you are desperate (Man Utd old vs Man Utd new) - Exhibition season/ not - there are little events in the summer. To me that offsets the annual leave challenge- if the will is there it can normally be done. - We are all more open-minded and happier when the sun is shining 😀 (assuming we get a summer) If you are thinking of hiring and would be interested in some free advice before pressing the button reach out to me...
