As I complete my first full month with 280 Group, I want to reflect on the journey thus far. Stepping into the role of Chief Revenue Officer, I knew the challenges and expectations that were ahead of me. But what I didn't fully anticipate was the impact of the people and the culture that breathes life into this organization. From the first week, it was evident that 280 Group isn't just another services company; it's a community united by a shared vision. The support and camaraderie here transform our ambitious goals into achievable milestones. This isn't just about aligning with a company's values—it's about being part of a collective force that drives you to go all in, every single day. This month was more than a series of introductions and strategy meetings. It was a deep dive into what makes 280 Group truly unique: its people. Their passion, dedication, and unwavering support have not just welcomed me but have empowered me to embrace this role with confidence and a sense of purpose. As we strategize and execute, I am constantly reminded that the heart of our success lies within our team. It's their insights, their resilience, and their commitment to excellence that fuel our journey forward. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited for what's ahead. Together, we're not just chasing targets—we're setting new benchmarks, fostering growth, and reshaping the industry landscape. Here's to many more months and milestones. Let's make it happen, team! #NewBeginnings #LeadershipJourney #CRO #Innovation #Collaboration #GrowthMindset

Completely agree that something like a Product Board would drive a lot of value for most companies. Having worked in a support capacity for many product teams, I’ve seen firsthand how valuable an objective 3rd party perspective can be when reviewing their product, market performance, and roadmap. In reversed roles, I’d wish to have the same thing to help me arrive at the best answers and outcomes. I think one of the key reasons this concept of a Product Board can be so helpful is because it can be hard to get objective feedback from experienced people inside a organization. This is partly driven by social and organizational sensitivities that make it challenging to voice unfiltered feedback or ask the tough questions. Additionally, when you are very close to a problem for too long you can lose perspective on the bigger picture or remember to challenge basic assumptions that might skew your solution space.

Shelley Perry- so true. Creating a vision that inspires your customers and your employees is so critical and a huge accelerator. It is easy to assume that saying it a few times, having it in your collateral, putting it on a wall is enough. As I often tell my teams, it isn't until you are ready to start ripping your hair out because you don't want to say something AGAIN that it's starting to land. Some of my favorite people when it comes to visions are Radhika Dutt and Roman Pichler. Who are yours? #visionaryleadership #product #strategy
Biggest FAIL for first-time Founders/ CEO’s 📌 Thinking everyone can 'see' the vision they see - in the early days that is true, as you scale not everyone working for you will - Creating a vision that inspires (that is not confusing) is critical for your employees and the market. As you Scale, and your company become more complex, You NEED to paint an easy to consume picture for all of your stakeholders

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐬𝐏𝐌'𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞'𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞! Next week, we will unveil the PappsPM Vivid Vision. This vision will guide us over the next three years as we build and establish the company we aspire to create. But what exactly is a Vivid Vision, and why is it important? A Vivid Vision, a concept championed by Cameron Herold, is a detailed, forward-looking document that paints a clear picture of our company's future. Unlike a traditional business plan, it’s not about the 'how' but the 'where'. It describes where we see PappsPM in three years, providing a roadmap that inspires and aligns our team, stakeholders, and clients. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: For our team at PappsPM, the Vivid Vision brings clarity and purpose, helping us understand how our contributions build toward something larger. It aligns everyone around common goals and fosters a sense of ownership and motivation. For our external audience, including potential clients, future employees, and stakeholders, the Vivid Vision is a glimpse into our future. It shows our commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence, and it invites you to join us on this journey. By sharing our vision, we aim to build stronger relationships and create a buzz around the exciting path we are on. 📝 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭: It’s not an in-depth business plan. It’s not a step-by-step guide. It’s not a rigid framework. 📝 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐭 𝐈𝐬: A three-year vision of our company’s future. A detailed and inspirational document. A tool to align and energise our team. Next week, we'll release the full Vivid Vision document on LinkedIn, providing a detailed overview of where we’re heading and how we plan to get there. You won't want to miss it! #VividVision #FuturePlanning #PappsPM #CameronHerold #Leadership #Growth #DefenceIndustry #SMEDefence

No offense to my day job, but recruiting people to a nice dinner is much more fun than recruiting them to fill a position. And, just as we need food to fuel our bodies, we need information to fuel our minds—because that’s where the growth begins! Thanks to Jay Po, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Stage 2 Capital, we all grew a little more last night as he shared his insight into what aspiring Board Members should expect once their in the seat. He answered questions such as: How can you add value as a Board member? How much of the role is strategic vs mentoring? How much of the role is crisis management? How do you get alignment across the Board especially when things aren't going well? Who takes the lead and how? What if the CEO wants to sell and the Board does not? (Maybe my favorite part of the discussion!) All those questions, and more, were answered by Jay with an assist from John Davagian, who’s not only successfully recruited Board Members, but has been sought after by others to sit on their Boards. And, of course, thanks to the following people who could have been anywhere in the world last night, but they were there with me! Lindsey Meyl, Jeff Kirchick, who made a great "life-sized" pitch to Jay, and Max Tipton
