Just witnessed a fatality on the highway 😓 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝟳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: (𝟭) 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁: If it says 100, don't do 120. It's not smart. You're an idiot if you do it. (𝟮) 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲, 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: Indians don't understand lane discipline, but it's not so hard. Stay within the parallel white markers, and don't slalom or drift. You endanger yourself and others if you don't stay in your lane. (𝟯) 𝗢𝗯𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹- 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘: I still hear from people around me how they open up cans of beer on a road trip. This is the most risky behaviour you can indulge in, and you are being unfair to others. Imagine you run over a dog, a goat or a child because you're inebriated; people should 100% go to jail for such acts. (𝟰) 𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝟯 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁: Keep a safe distance and allow yourself time to apply the brakes and slow down. Your safety distance depends on your speed. At 50 kmph, it is about 40 metres. At 100 kmph, it is 90 metres. At 150 kmph (you shouldn't ever drive at 150), you need a 130 metre gap. (𝟱) 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘆/𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 - 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗽: Most serious highway accidents happen when you're sleepy late at night or around dawn. If your eyelids are heavy, if you yawn more than a couple of times, pull over. Wash your face, drink some coffee, stretch. (𝟲) 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆: Trust is important on the road. But it helps if you're constantly paranoid. The other driver may be drunk, or crazy. You need to be at your defensive best. All the time. (𝟳) 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗱𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗲𝗹𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 (𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀, 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿-𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀): This improved a bit after the Cyrus Mistry incident, but we are regressing into old, dangerous comforts. Make sure you always wear the seatbelt. It is essential. Pls share and tell your friends about this. Insist that they do this. Super important. Thanks

Horn, Honk, Fight: Why Roads Are Fueling Rage Road rage is an escalating problem caused by a variety of factors tied to modern driving environments and societal behaviors. Here's a breakdown of the key reasons roads are fueling rage: Traffic Congestion: As cities expand, streets become clogged, leading to long delays and frustration. The stress of being stuck in traffic can push drivers to aggressive behavior. Impatience & Time Pressure: With people constantly in a hurry, every delay feels like an attack on their time, increasing irritation and the likelihood of aggressive reactions. Anonymity & Dehumanization: Inside a car, drivers feel disconnected and less accountable for their actions, which can embolden them to act more aggressively toward others. Emotional States: Drivers often take stress from other areas of their lives onto the road, making them more prone to lash out over minor inconveniences. Crowding & Competition: Driving can feel like a battle for space, with drivers competing for lanes and the right of way, leading to confrontations when they feel "wronged." Cultural Norms: In some areas, aggressive driving behaviors like honking or tailgating are normalized, increasing the frequency of road rage incidents. Technology & Distractions: Distracted drivers can trigger anger by driving erratically or slowly, adding fuel to already tense traffic situations. Poor Infrastructure: Badly designed roads and confusing traffic patterns can frustrate drivers, escalating their stress and irritation. Lack of Consequences: With minimal penalties for aggressive driving, some feel emboldened to act without fear of repercussions. Social Influence: Aggressive driving can spread when people mimic hostile behaviors they observe, reinforcing a cycle of road rage. Addressing this issue requires better traffic management, increased accountability, and promoting mindful driving to reduce tensions on the road. #DriveWithCare #StopTheRoadRage #HonkLessLiveMore #StayCoolOnTheRoad #StopTheRoadRage #TrafficTension #RoadRageRemedy #KeepCalmAndDriveOn #MindfulDrivingMatters #BeatTheStreetStress #CruiseNotCompete #RoadPeacePlease #ChillBehindTheWheel #SafeStreetsSafeMin

Many road accidents are happening around the world in every seconds. Unfortunately these all accidents are man made. Road accidents are preventable, if we follow road safety rules. Many of us have a habit of running across roads, disregarding traffic signals that often result in pathetic accidents. Similarly, whenever you go on the roads, driving your car, listening to your favorite music or even talking to a friend over the phone. Driving a bike, rushing against the wind itself and making a road character out of yourself. Do you think that you’re safe out there on the roads? Because if you think that you are safe, I have got news telling you that you’re not and that being safe on the roads is something that can’t be achieved easily…one needs to care for himself, one needs to take care of his surroundings, understand what’s happening around and then work on it. In our everyday lives, road safety carries a lot of importance, it’s important how we walk, drive or do anything on the road. People define roads in two ways, one is “A Busy Road” and the other is a “Not so busy road”. A busy road can be defined as the road where there’s a lot of traffic going in and out every day. To avoid these, a driver should be careful not to break the road safety rules and maintain the road safety culture. However, that’s not the case. A road is a road no matter if it has zero, some or so much traffic on it. A road is a road no matter how busy it gets in the day or how lonely it gets in the night. There is absolutely no excuse to not abide by the traffic laws. Road safety is increasingly becoming a major killer and a worldwide concern. Everyone needs to be well aware of the road traffic rules especially children and young people who are at significant road accident risks. The ARA Global conducts many training and webinars on this topic. "Drive Safe, be Safe' hashtag #roadsafety hashtag #drivesafe hashtag #traffic hashtag #rual hashtag #signal
