Logiscan Secures DKK 40,000 in Soft Funding from Hans Følsgaard 🎉   The startup LogiScan is currently developing a new solution for even more efficient inventory management by using a new combination of IoT solutions. Recently, they received a significant boost with a DKK 40,000 soft funding grant from our Skylab Funding partner, Hans Følsgaard.   Skylab Funding is a program aimed at supporting DTU students and researchers in the nascent stages of their entrepreneurial ventures. By providing soft funding, ranging from DKK 15,000 to DKK 150,000, from our network of funding partners, we aim to foster early-stage development of DTU-related startups. This funding is crucial for startups, especially for some of the very first prototypes and gaining vital business validation.   LogiScan caught the attention of Hans Følsgaard at a recent pitch session at the hub, leading to a grant of DKK 40,000.   "We were impressed by LogiScan's innovative approach to addressing global warehouse needs. Their team's dedication and interdisciplinary expertise were key factors in our decision to support their project," stated Jørgen Stenberg from Hans Følsgaard. Six Motor Valley Startups Awarded by MOST with Grants of €100,000 🚀 Six innovative startups, part of the Motor Valley Accelerator, received a grant of 100,000 euros each, programmed by the #MOSTMobilityCompetition, to develop cutting-edge solutions in the field of sustainable mobility. The awarded startups are: Acus, AS.CAR.I, HMDrive, Novac, Emsense AB and RECARBON.🚗 The MOST Mobility Competition is an event that focuses on promoting new ideas for transportation and mobility. Participants, including students, startups and researchers, are invited to create and present innovative projects to improve mobility. This year, Taiwanese startups and the government are quite ambitious about expanding into the Japanese market. In May, the Tokyo government held one of the biggest startup exhibitions, SusHiTech Tokyo. Taiwan had the largest pavilion among all participating countries. Additionally, Taiwanese startup CancerFree Biotech advanced to the top 7 in the pitch competition, selected from hundreds of startups. (Last year, Taiwanese startup Turing Space also advanced to the top 7.) Following SusHiTech Tokyo, Startup Island TAIWAN led a delegation of over 30 startups to Osaka this week to expand their market presence, followed by participation in IVS, one of the largest startup exhibitions in Japan. After IVS, two Taiwanese startups, CancerFree Biotech and Turing Drive, will join me in Okinawa for the startup exhibition Kozarocks.
