More praise for "Critical Faith" -From the beginning it is a page turner, and by the end it compels one to be a bellwether for the truth of history and the truth of Christ. It is one of those rare works that compels the reader to stand before their soul's mirror, clean the mirror, and assess if the person staring back is Christ or convenient Christianity....#Compelling #Provocative #Bold #Brilliant. -- K.M.Sealey https://lnkd.in/ez98aTAr

This Christian Apologetics online course is urgently needed, as biblical deconstruction poses a very real danger to the Church and the believer. What is biblical deconstruction, and what makes it a threat to the Christian Church and every believer? Biblical deconstruction is a modern-day battlefield from within and without Christianity. It is a spiritual war with the evil intent of separating more than people and denominations. Its' intent is to blur the definition of Christianity and dilute the moral and spiritual authority of biblical truth itself. In a bold and direct contrast to historic creedal Christianity, progressive Evangelical Christianity accepts that there are multiple ways to connect with God – ways other than Jesus. "God used Paul’s study of philosophy, his exhaustive knowledge of scripture, and even negative traits like the extreme zealousness he showed in persecuting Christians, to carry the gospel to the Gentiles. And He’ll do the same for us if we allow Him to break us down and build us up." Just as God transformed Paul into a powerful instrument for His purpose, He longs to do the same in our lives. Heb 10:25: not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Personal contact with other Christians is not merely suggested by the Bible: it is commanded. A practical reason for this was given in the prior verse. Relationships with other believers are one way to be encouraged to live out the faith we proclaim. We are called on to "hold fast," through our own spiritual maturity. Growth in faith, however, is greatly influenced by having Christian examples around us. This is why the Great Commission was for the church to "make disciples," not merely to talk about Jesus (Matthew 28:18–20). Verse 24 commanded Christians to look for opportunities to inspire others to love and to good works.

God can—and does—work through anyone and everything, including our sin and failures. God “works all things after the counsel of his will” (Eph. 1:11). He is so great and wise that no evil can escape his gravity. It is all swept into his good plan.
