Should we bring our other half? The official kick off the holiday party season has begun! For many of us in business development and professional roles, this means attending the parties of not just our own company, but also the organizations and associations we are members of. Maybe you're even invited to your clients party! The question is, should our better halves join the celebration and let our worlds collide in the most magical way? For your partner, it can be a fun time to dress up with you, go out, and step into your professional world for an evening. For your clients, it's a chance for them to see the whole you, which can be scary. There is much to think about when making this choice! I decided to bring my husband, Colby to last night's #HFMADV Holiday party for the first time. We had a wonderful time, and I got to introduce him to many of my friends, some of their partners, and he finally got the chance to put faces with the names and stories I've shared. What a wonderful event! As I reflect on the festive night that unfolded at #HFMADV, let's toast to the choices that add an extra layer of sparkle to our holiday calendars. Are you on team "Business & Bliss" or "Solo Soiree"? Share your thoughts below, and let's continue the celebration of the season's enchantment! #DecisionDecember #FestiveBliss #BusinessAndLove

St. Patrick's Day- things to do and see! 🍀 St. Patrick's Day festivities can infuse the day with both cultural richness and a sense of community. Here's a strategy to maximize the celebration: 🌟 Begin with a local event. Many towns host parades and community gatherings. Begin your day with the local flair, experiencing the vibrant floats, music, and performances often dedicated to Irish culture. 🌈 Broaden your cultural knowledge while having fun. Dive into the history of St. Patrick's Day, perhaps through a book or documentary. Sharing this newfound knowledge can spark engaging conversations. 🎶 Embrace Irish music. Whether it means attending a live concert, listening to traditional Irish tunes, or even learning a jig or two, music is a powerful way to connect with the essence of the celebration. 🥘 Explore Irish cuisine. Try your hand at cooking traditional dishes like corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew, or soda bread. Share your culinary adventure or the final results in your post! 🤝 Connect with your Irish roots or create new traditions. If you have Irish ancestry, consider delving into your heritage, or if not, create new traditions with friends and family. 🏡 End the day reflecting on the connections made, the joy shared, and the memories created. Wrap up your post by emphasizing the spirit of unity that St. Patrick's Day can foster. #StPatricksDay #IrishCulture #CommunityCelebration In sharing your St. Patrick's Day activities, you offer a blend of personal involvement and cultural appreciation that resonates universally. It's about more than just a day on the calendar; it's an opportunity to celebrate heritage and community everywhere.

Bingo, Beers and Business: Can festive fun be helpful for product and team success? This week I spent a lot of time socializing and celebrating the upcoming holiday season and I must admit, today I am quite tired! I was in Munich at our headquarters for our quarterly OKR Review, Retrospective and Planning which was at the same day as their local Christmas party. Met a few colleagues for the first time in person and realized (once again) how nice that is! Yesterday, we had our local Tenerife Christmas event and I truly enjoyed learning more about Spanish traditions. Did you know that Bingo is a big thing here?! Lastly, this morning we had a virtual holiday party to celebrate the successes within our Business Unit. We shortly talked about important product features we have been delivering this year and then spent some time playing games. Never thought guessing Christmas songs backwards would be so damn hard! While socialising sometimes doesn’t feel like “real work” I do appreciate it a lot more after the pandemic. I have had the chance to see so many great colleagues in person this week and a few online that I have never had the chance to get to know on a personal level. ✨From my point of view it is a great investment to spend time regularly to reflect on successes, celebrate them and get to know your colleagues in person! It might not need it three times in one week every week but once a year I think that’s more than ok 😉 What do you think? #socialising #teambuilding #christmasparty #reflection #success

The air is crisp, the halls are decked, and you...have a million end-of-year deadlines and no time to plan the holiday celebration your team deserves! Don't worry; we'll handle the party-planning for you. Just hit "use template" to get started. https://lnkd.in/gyJ_ZVFG Our virtual holiday celebration ends the year in style, with: ❄️ Cozy decorations (even falling snow!) 🧶 A fun and festive sweater contest ⁉️ A friendly trivia competition And it's not just fun and games (though don't get us wrong, it is a LOT of fun.) This structured agenda is designed to guide your team through a meaningful conversation about appreciation and shared accomplishments — a proven practice for strengthening trust and engagement as the year ends. What's that worth? Gallup has estimated that companies that support a culture of appreciation at work create about $92 million dollars in additional value per 10,000 employees — or about $9,000 per team member. That's a big return on investment! And spreading a little holiday cheer is a great (and easy!) way to get started. Put your party on the calendar today. 🎁

🐣 What is Easter to me? A time to reflect on renewal and growth 🌱 Today we were done with our dailies quickly because Germany is already out for their holiday break, so half of my teams were absent. We had a bit of time to talk about Easter traditions in Croatia, Bosnia, Poland, and Italy. It made me reflect on what this holiday actually means to me, a not religious person. This year for sure it means finally catching a breath after working in crunch mode for several weeks. I am really looking forward to having this one extra day added to the weekend 😌 But it’s more than that: for me it has always been a time to reflect on renewal and growth 🤔 👉 Am I headed in the right direction? 👉 What could be a next step in my personal development? 👉 What about my Teams and our product? How can we breathe new energy into our collaboration? 👉 Are there skills or strengths we have not fully explored and leveraged? First ideas are already coming, and I am looking forward to sharing them with my colleagues next week… 🧘♀️ But for now, let’s take some deep breaths and relax. Happy Easter to everyone in my network! 👉 Are you celebrating Easter? What does this holiday mean to you? #easter #renewal #growth
