Being very specific on the things you do everyday is how you achieve the goals you set. Have a plan, have a system! There is nothing new under the sun, meaning what was done yesterday is still the same today. We just have more technology and more gadgets! #loanofficerlife #systems #goals #leaders
When we train our sales team on goal setting we do what is in my opinion the most important thing...we hold them accountable too. You make a goal so you can achieve it, not so you can keep dreaming it. I write everything down that I want to achieve and it's on me to make sure it gets done. #goals #accountability #sales

Deputy General Manager @ Airtel zonal business |rout to consumer|trade marketing | shopper marketing | and sales digitalization.
“Sales people are the pillars of the organization” The sales department is the only one bringing revenue to the organization. I don't devalue the contributions of cross-functional teams and their support to the business. However, do you know how challenging this job is? Whether it's monsoon or sunshine, they have to go to the battlefield and fight for market share, revenue, availability, visibility, collection, etc. Every day is a challenging day for them like an athlete, as salespeople, they possess a special set of skills to keep their heads high and bear with all the turbulence happening in the market and within the organization. I can recall how I started my career as a front-liner, visiting approximately 40 outlets per day, ensuring availability, maintaining visibility standards, managing a large number of customers, conducting sales arguments, and influencing them to buy from us. Trust me; it was not easy. Nevertheless, sales may not be your department, but give them due respect because they deserve your kind words and appreciation. #frontlineworkers #sales

Supporting a technical sales team to go beyond the obvious through curiosity for process industry - Helping process industry to make measures and controls more reliable
A successful sales team is more than just a group of individuals working towards a common goal. It's about having a shared vision and values, and most importantly, a willingness to support each other through thick and thin. Want to know what sets a winning team apart? Here are some of the key traits that make a sales team successful: a clear understanding of the sales process, mutual support, a positive attitude towards leadership and self, the ability to ask for help when needed, a desire to continuously improve, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. By cultivating these characteristics, your sales team can achieve greatness and exceed even the loftiest of goals. So take a moment to reflect on how you can foster these values within your own team and watch as your sales soar to new heights! #salesteam #success #teamwork #motivation

Where do you spend YOUR TIME, Mr (new) Field Manager? Ok, you have 12 field sales people (reps) # You have 3 at the top of the leader board, working brilliantly, producing almost 50% of total monthly sales. Good solid performers. Mike, Philip, Anne # You have 6 what I call ‘floaters’, who can be good, bad or indifferent depending on their efforts, moods, capabilities, knowledge, skills & attitude, and they bring in c40% of total monthly sales. Thomas, Joan, Julie, Peter, Mark, Liz Task: You’ve recently joined the Company, have briefly met your new team members and so your Director has asked for your first important monthly work planner consisting of 20 days. I was talking with business owners recently. I realized how important it is for business leaders always to provide training, coaching, and new ideas for sales professionals to stay engaged and improve their product knowledge and sales skills. If you don't provide coaching and training for a sales professional, their confidence gets too strong, and their skill to be curious gets weaker. I would love to talk to the Founders/Owners of businesses who lead the sales team or are their business sales professionals. I would love to provide some support. Sales leaders that listen to phone calls, celebrate successes with the team, and inspire listening within the team are on the right path. Inheriting a high performing sales team is a risky career move…. As a new sales leader, an underperforming sales team is actually what you want Why? 👇 - You have the opportunity to accumulate some quick wins - There’s an appetite to explore new approaches and craft a fresh vision And most importantly; - Leading a transformation is way more interesting and rewarding (in the long term anyway) If you aspire to lead a sales team, trust me, you never want to hear; “It’s a great team, just come in and maintain the performance”. #mediasalesmasteryoodcast

#salesleaders There's a lot to be said about recognition for performance because it works - a simple verbal or non verbal 'well done' goes a long way. Just a memo on this; Best does not only mean 'top', where performance is concerned. It also means Best Improvement, Best Resolve, Best Teamwork Best improvement; By providing everyone an opportunity to gain recognition you can pull up the overall performance of the team. This drives personal goals! Best Resolution. By this I mean be sure to identify where someone has had to think outside of the box to ensure a win:win outcome. This drives ownership! Best teamwork. When a sales person does well, they usually have a good team supporting them to complete the sales cycle. This improves big picture thinking! 'Happy Red Nose Day' the way!
