🎖️ Honoring our Veterans 🎖️ On Veterans Day, we deeply thank the brave heroes serving our nation. 🙏 Your sacrifices have protected our freedoms and inspire us every day. 🌟 As we express our gratitude, let's also celebrate the spirit of collaboration, something that veterans often embody. One way to foster this spirit in the workplace is by enabling and utilizing Microsoft New Teams. It's not just a tool for virtual meetings, but a powerful platform for teamwork, communication, and unity. Additionally, our veterans work as a cohesive unit in different divisions. Microsoft New Teams allows you to create channels for specific projects, departments, or topics. This ensures that communication remains focused, organized, and efficient. It's like creating mini-missions within your organization! Here are several Microsoft New Teams' stellar improvements. Performing 2x faster Switching between accounts, teams, and channels smoother Entailing premium features for meetings and webinars Enhancing Live Broadcasting experience with Town Hall And, more Final words: I thank all veterans, including my husband, for your service. Leader, Strategist, Raconteur | Growing the Next Generation One Leader at a Time | Professor of the Practice at the University of Kansas School of Business
In retrospect, one of my favorite aspects of the "second best year of my life" (note slightly sarcastic tone) attending the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) was the monthly exercises that allowed us to put the knowledge we gained from intense study to work in a hashtag #wargaming scenario. Whether we were refighting the 1806 battles of Jena and Auerstedt or launching a no-notice peace enforcement mission into the Caucasus, the gamesmanship of the exercises forced us to bring our A game every single time. The more we studied - a deluge of #history, #theory, and contemporary #geopolitics - the better we got, and the better we got, the more realistic the wargames became. Although we were pulling a thread through the curriculum that would ultimately hone our ability to plan complex operations, it also lit a spark of #strategic #thinking that would follow us into our future roles; we were weaving a tapestry of strategic thought that combined wargaming, systems theory, and cognitive psychology... and it all started with a tabletop game called #Kriegsspiel. Helmuth von Moltke (the elder), the Prussian chief of staff from the 1850s to the 1880s, was a devoted fan of Kriegsspiel, seeing it as an ideal training tool for officers and used it to revolutionize how his forces fought on the ground, reducing casualty rates while increasing lethality. And if you're a fan of tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer... well, you can thank the Prussians for doing the heavy mental lifting to make Kriegsspiel a reality, and people like Ian Brown for taking it to the next level. But you have to wonder... did von Moltke ever have to deal with his own Leeroy Jenkins?

The world is talking about Purdue University innovation known as #HADAR or "heat-assisted detection and ranging." The patent-pending tech has the ability to improve on traditional machine vision and perception. Zubin Jacobs, the Elmore Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Purdue University Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has played a major role in developing HADAR. Jacobs recently spoke with Akron, OH radio station WAKR, discussing how it could improve automotive safety, military defense, and medicine. Listen here ---> https://ow.ly/n2ue50PBvET
