The desire for remote work is not new. Far from it. In fact, it’s been remarkably consistent even pre-pandemic with the most significant change being a jump in interest when lockdowns forced companies to test it out – and it worked. This interest has not meaningfully changed since – so what does that tell us? That remote work is not an idealistic pipe dream. That remote work is an improvement in the eyes of employees. That remote work is a direct investment in employee happiness and satisfaction. Yes, closing that gap will involve restructuring and re-assessing. But the demand is there. And always has been. It’s worth it.

How do you feel about remote work??? Remote work offers workers greater flexibility and work-life balance. This shift is not only about working from home but also about the ability to work from any location, breaking free from traditional office environments. While there are benefits to working together in person (old school office-style 😉), full blown back-to-the-office programs can reduce this flexibility. What do you do then? #techcommunity #remoteworking
