Are you thinking about hosting an online event? Are there times you wish you had someone to bounce ideas off? As a Zoom Producer I can be that listening ear or fresh pair of eyes. I always start by asking what your ideal event looks like and where will you be sharing your event to gain participants. I can then give you feedback. There are 2 options to gain access to this service. Option 1 – Zoom Power Hour, with the added advice on tools you can use. If this is for you, get booked in here - https://lnkd.in/eGNRuPNK Option 2 – Zoom Producing, where I will also support you at your online event. If this sounds like the option for you. Author of Memorable, Profitable, Virtual. The World's First Full-Stack Event Producer. I help event specialists create memorable, profitable hybrid and online conferences and trade shows.
Yes, you can run amazing virtual events on Zoom. It happens all the time. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the medium that makes an event sucky. But trying to run the whole thing yourself can be tough. Making sure your settings are right. Managing your attendees. Being bombarded with "thirty-eight people are in the waiting room" messages. Moderating the chat. Sure, you can do it alone... but why, when you could offload all those headaches to someone else? So... here's three reasons why you should have a producer for your next Zoom event.

I need some recommendations! Online event software - what is your go to? The VA Lounge is bringing The Big VA Meet Up back in March 2024, but we are looking for the best most interactive event hosting equipment. In previous years we’ve used Airmeet and loved the experience of it, but are there any others that you use or have encountered when attending online events that we need to check out? #VirtualAssistant #VirtualEvents #Conference

Perfect insight about hybrid events from Merijn van Buuren 👏🏻👏🏻 So, if you're doubting hybrid events, it might be because you're using a one-size-fits-all approach for stakeholders and attendees. Instead, focus on specific goals, attendee preferences, and meeting sponsor expectations for each format. Remember, one strategy won't work for all audience types - in-person, virtual, and hybrid attendees are different. Let’s discuss! 💡
If you believe hybrid events don’t work for you, you’re probably doing this part wrong: Taking a one-size-fits-all approach for your stakeholders and attendee types. Instead, get clear on your: 👉 Goals for each specific format 👉 Attendees' limitations and desires for each type 👉 Sponsors' expectations of what mission success looks like to them in different scenarios No matter which of these types or formats you choose... You can't copy and paste the same event approach for each audience and expect to run successful hybrid events. Because → In-person attendee ≠ Virtual attendee ≠ Hybrid attendee

“Events are the new office.” —Julius Solaris (follow this event pro; his advice is gold!) I read these five words in a June post from Julius, and they immediately stuck with me. He’s so right. For remote or hybrid teams, events are a place to gather and connect with other professionals, yes, but also with one another. As you’re planning your fall conferences and summits, be sure you’re offering spaces and programming designed to engage people who came solo *and* people who came with 3-5 of their teammates. Just some event food for thought. #eventmarketing #userconferences #eventplanning
