This is an important new paper that addresses the elephant in the room of fashion sustainability, how to finance the decarbonization of the apparel value chain. With the bulk of the apparel industry's climate impacts embedded in the supply chain if we don't solve this challenge we will never achieve the industry's collective climate goals.

I'm proud to have been part of this collaborative effort among fashion manufacturers and supporters to guide the recent report "From Catwalk to Carbon Neutral: Mobilising funding for a Net Zero Fashion Industry." The aim of the report is to outline the funding challenges faced by manufacturers around the world, how the current funding landscape does not cover all challenges, and the need to rethink funding under collective action principles. Last week in London; brand and retailers were able to be part of a Roundtable Event, focusing on opportunities and challenges regarding circularity in the textile industry. The event was hosted by our partner Lenzing.
