Interesting article! I can’t relate too much. I’ve been quite fortunate in my last two job experiences. In both instances, I had the benefit of having a brief, five-minute meeting with the owners, and the very next day, I was signing a contract – no need for multiple interviews or extensive processes.

9moThank you Leigh McKiernon and this article is very close to home 😉 Smaller agencies use the term Executive Search to pitch for more senior/ big ticket recruitment projects. Companies don’t want to pay an Executive Search fee so they let their TA teams advertise C-Level roles, instantly taking away the the exclusive nature 🤦♂️ ‘Top-tier’ candidates aren’t spending their time on social media and checking job boards every week, so the reality is that when you advertise, you’re probably only reaching 10% of the total candidate pool… Sigh 😔
