Transelectrica hosted the first seminar of the ENTSO-E Human Resources (HR) TSO Community Working Group on 16-17 November 2023 in Bucharest (RO) 🤝
The event brought together 19 HR experts from ENTSO-E and 10 Transmission and System Operators from eight countries.
Participants discussed pressing HR challenges and best practices in the industry. The topics of discussion included talent strategy for international recruitment, international TSO assignments for experts and young talents, non-discrimination, and equal opportunities.
The need for a skilled workforce is increasingly urgent to deliver on the energy transition. The HR experts in talent management from ENTSO-E members aimed to establish a common framework for creating a talent pool across Europe in the energy sector. The objective of the first meeting was to share best practices and strengthen cooperation at the European level on human resources and innovative approaches to workforce development needed to ensure the energy transition.
The HR TSO Community Seminar was set up at the ENTSO-E level in 2023, and the kick-off meeting took place online in June. Its purpose is to create a network where ENTSO-E member TSOs can share lessons learned and talent management experiences, learn from each other, and develop an international career network through the exchange of HR knowledge.
