Exciting news: CAISO’s draft Policy Catalog contains a policy initiative that would allow battery export compensation in California! The initiative, called Modified Proxy Demand Response (mPDR) would credit demand response resources for battery exports back to the grid, allowing them to be paid for those exports. 🔋 This would be a major step forward for demand response in California that would unlock massive new revenue opportunities for battery and V2X tech. However, it’s not yet a given that CAISO will take it up. Your vote can help make this a reality. If your company is engaged with (or might engage with) demand flexibility in California, simply complete this multiple-choice survey by June 26: https://lnkd.in/ewJaE2rn Policy Categories: Select “Demand Response” as your highest priority. Policy Initiatives: Select “Modified PDR – hybrid PDR with BTM storage” as one of your highest priorities. (feel free to select other priority initiatives at your discretion, or just select “neutral”) Thanks for your support to ensure that batteries receive credit for their full value to the grid! #batterystorage #CAISO #demandresponse #energypolicy

This is a fantastic development for the future of battery and V2X technology in California! The Modified Proxy Demand Response (mPDR) initiative promises to create significant revenue opportunities by compensating battery exports back to the grid. It’s crucial for companies involved in demand flexibility to support this policy.  If your business is engaged in this space, make sure to participate in the survey and prioritize "Demand Response" and "Modified PDR – hybrid PDR with BTM storage." Your vote can help drive this initiative forward and ensure batteries receive the credit they deserve for their contributions to the grid. Let's work together to advance this important cause! 🔋🌟
