Student at University of California, Santa Barbara

I am thrilled to announce that I have recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. My time at UCSB has been transformative, and I'm grateful for the experiences and knowledge I've gained. During my time at UCSB, I had the wonderful opportunity to work for Island View Outfitters, and was an active member of Pi Beta Phi, CA ZETA, for four years! I will forever cherish my years in Isla Vista, as they have shaped me into the person I am today. I am also excited to share that I have officially joined the American Connection Corps (ACC), a program of Lead For America, as an AmeriCorps Member! I want to thank Cadie Bergan for believing in me as well as Jack Forinash and Tara Saylor for the opportunity to work with the Blue Sky Center team! In the coming year, I'll serve at Blue Sky Center, a non-profit in New Cuyama, CA. My focus will be on increasing access to broadband, as well as enhancing economic development throughout the Cuyama Valley. I am so excited to make a positive impact in the community by immersing myself in rural living and engaging with the residents to understand their needs better. At ACC, we are dedicated to bridging the digital divide in rural communities and emerging cities, and I'm proud to be a part of this mission. Together, we will work towards creating a more connected and prosperous future for everyone.
