Leadership is many things the most important being ALL about inspiring and influencing PEOPLE. And I think most would agree that the very purpose of leadership is to INSPIRE and INFLUENCE others to exercise their leadership capacity. And Inspiration and influence are best achieved through the exercise of RESPECT and EQUITY. In the absence of the latter - give yourself enough respect to walk away.
