AmeriCorps Lead For North Carolina Fellow | Kinston

It’s been an honor and amazing learning experience working on this project for the City Of Kinston. My part in the project began in the fall of last year and I am super happy to see it come to fruition! The Downtown Kinston Social District (DKSD) had its ribbon cutting this morning, officially opening the district for Kinstonians & folks drawn to our Downtown. From the research, to listening forums, council presentations, and all the meetings in between, I’m glad to have been able to a part of a major project for our city. If you happen to be in the Kinston, North Carolina area look for our DKSD signs (positioned along the boundaries of the district) and enjoy a drink from one of our participating businesses while taking in all that Downtown Kinston has to offer. Drink responsibly, of course. 😊
