This spring the Hendersonville Area Links donated laptops to 10 LEAD Academy class of 2024 graduates. This is the second year the organization has donated laptops to LEAD Academy students. We're thankful for community partners who stand alongside us to support our students' success.

Chief Development Officer | United Rehabilitation Services | Transforming Donor Generosity into Sustainable Support
#volunteering is more than just giving time; it's a powerful catalyst for positive transformation. At Youth Haven, we've witnessed firsthand how volunteers create a chain reaction of goodness that resonates far beyond their immediate actions. Take the heartwarming example of St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, North Dakota, whose recent visit to our campus as part of their 2023 Mission Trip left an indelible mark. While organizing back-to-school supplies for Youth Haven, they exemplified the essence of volunteering - selflessly dedicating their time to enhance the lives of others. This act of kindness, fueled by a shared commitment to the #community, not only ensures that kids are well-equipped for school but also ignites a spark of hope and inspiration within them. Volunteers are the backbone of change, bridging gaps, and fostering unity. Their collective efforts are like ripples in a pond, spreading positivity throughout society. So let's celebrate the volunteers, like those from St. John Lutheran Church, who are lighting up the path towards a brighter future. Their actions remind us that small acts of kindness can spark profound shifts, creating a world where compassion and impact go hand in hand. Join us in honoring the volunteers who are #creatingchange and inspiring us all to be a part of something bigger. #VolunteerImpact #CommunityEngagement #Inspiration
Members of St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, North Dakota, recently visited our campus to volunteer as part of their 2023 Mission Trip! During their visit, they organized the abundance of back-to-school supplies donated to Youth Haven! We're grateful for their help and all the donors and supporters who contributed to our supply drive to ensure our kids are ready for the school year! #YouthHavenSWFL #NaplesFL #FLFosterCare #FLHomelessTeens #BackToSchool

If you are wondering what kind of impact your business can have for a not for profit organization, check this out. This is the third year in a row that this local business has turned over the proceeds of mulch sales for the day, totaling roughly $10,000. That kind of support is huge for Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington. The relationship started with a #CSGW presentation where owner Marty Young was in attendance. He learned how the program worked and how it could be an impactful tool for #CommunitySafety. As a business that has been impacted by crime, he felt this was an organization that he could support. Aligning your business with the #CrimeStoppers brand isn't just a smart move for community engagement, it can actually be a boost to your profile. Consider partnering with your local program.
Wow! Another awesome #MulchSale year in #MountForest . Thank you to Marty Young and his team at Young's Home Hardware who donated ALL proceeds from this year's sale. Here Marty, left, is joined by #CSGW Past Chair Deryck West. Outstanding support from this community partner! Shout out to our #Guelph partners, Andre Belisle and his team at JL's Home Hardware for raising $1,776 for our program during #MayMulchMonth.

Congratulations Team Space2BHeard CIC What can you learn for your business from this amazing bunch? This past weekend I had the pleasure of being the support driver as my wife and her work colleagues took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for a cause very personal to one of the group. Not the ideal weekend to pick as it was very hot and incredibly humid, but they all managed to complete the challenge. So what can we learn?
