PitchBook recently released the top most active PE Biotech & Life Science investors list over the past five years. Here is the list below 👇 📝 KKR invested over $500 billion with 14 investments including, Bushu Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for around $750 million. 🖊 Thompson Street Capital Partners came in 2nd with 13 investments totaling $4.5 billion . Their average deal was over $50 million including Vector Laboratories, Inc.. 🧪 Boston based, Ampersand Capital Partners spent over $3 billion across 9 different investments. 👨🔬 French based, ARCHIMED staked over $8.5 billion invested with 9 deals across Biopharma, IVD & Life Science Tools. 👩🔬BroadOak Capital Partners targets early growth companies across Life Sciences and invested in Sanguine Biosciences this year. Over 8 deals, they have invested $0.3 billion. 💹 Other listed investors included GTCR LLC ($35 billion), Arsenal Capital Partners ($11.1 billion), DevCo Partners ($0.7 billion), NovaQuest Capital Management ($1.8 billion), Merieux Equity Partners ($1.6 billion) & OrbiMed ($17 billion).
