Situated on the outskirts of Terrigal’s primary business area, the building complements other mixed-use developments along Pine Tree Lane. Strategic use of screens, balconies, and architectural forms diminishes the perceived mass of the development. Improving accessibility and integration, retail tenancies and ground-floor units boast direct street access. The basement carpark is conveniently reached by a dedicated driveway. In response to the evolving skyline of Terrigal’s business hub, Rockpool stands as a 5-level structure, navigating its position between 2-storey private residences to the south and more substantial developments towards the business district. The units capitalise on natural light and ventilation, promoting sustainability by reducing the reliance on heating and cooling systems. This thoughtful approach reflects a commitment to the environment and to the wellbeing of residents. 🚘Bentley Residences🏝️ Bentley is partnering with Dezer Development for the project, which will be the British manufacturer’s first ever luxury residential tower. No stranger to branded residences, Dezer’s resume includes the Armani/Casa and Porsche towers. It partnered with Sieger Suarez Architects for both endeavors; the firm will be overseeing the design of the new Bentley construction as well. HOW IS BENTLEY RESIDENCES DIFFERENT FROM PORSCHE DESIGN TOWER? Major things like each unit is now going to have a four-car garage inside the apartment, instead of two, on the Porsche tower. A four-car garage up in the sky? Unheard of. We had the swimming pools of the Porsche towers on the balcony, but it was also blocking the view of the ocean. Now, we’ve moved the location of the swimming pool, and we’ve sunken it. It’s never been done before. It’s going to be very cool. On every floor and every unit,” enthuses Dezer. “You walk out of your elevator and you see water — from your own pool, 16 stories up in the air,” adds Sieger. We’re putting saunas in each unit, as well as outdoor showers on the balconies.” When Dezer talks about balconies, don’t start imagining small big-city balconies people use to store potted plants.
