Integrations Instructional Technologist at Idaho State University

I'm excited about the upgrades for one of our dedicated Interactive Video Conferencing Classrooms (IVCC) in the basement of the library at Idaho State University and hope our faculty will like the new changes. The room is equipped with a Zoom Room PC with Cameras from Lumens ProAV along with their AI camera box to help track who's talking and improve engagement with remote participants. The push-to-talk microphones were replaced with one ceiling microphone from Sennheiser to help make classroom discussions feel more natural. We are leveraging Extron's new ZRTP pro touch panel that integrates with both the Zoom Room platform and our in-room controls. The room also has a new podium with updated ISU Branding from Spectrum Industries Inc.. I'm also experimenting with NDI to help our IVCC specialists monitor/support the classroom.
